This wasn't on the coaches. The 3rd down call was a good one and Armstrong f'd it up. I will say the 4th down call was a joke and we should have kicked the FG. Gerry is who f'd up letting a receiver get behind him. To say this is on the coaches is a joke.

yes armstrong f'd up...just like he had been all day...so is he calling the plays? is he making a decision to throw the ball with a minute left against a team that hasnt been able to move the ball all day. kicking the FG maybe...but how reliable is the kicker? you punt the ball into the corner. make them go at least 80yds. send pressure so the QB doesnt have time to beat your pathetic CBs deep. they have no timeouts and would have less than 40secs....there is no way this is not on the coaches!
it was a calculated risk I remember another coach that took a risk in an orange bowl by going for two instead of tying it up it didn't work either but I think we all know who IM referring TO
  2. I thought the play was OK it was there TA just didn't execute he was throwing behind his receivers all day and all the drops today it just goes to show that u can't let a team hang in there first execute gotta make plays this is on the Players and their flat attitude today they blew it not the coaches and also the secondary has to get better that's my opinion

because it does matter to me idk just that atmosphere around game day and I'm sure it matters to everyone

When does enough be enough? I'm not a season ticket holder and only been to a handful of games but have been a fan since I was born. Lived in Lincoln. Could see the stadium from my house on Vine. I'd hate to see it end but when does the sellout end?

Get this garbage out of here. If you're not a season ticket holder, what does it matter to you?
  4. DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS! The huskers dominated opponents on the ground and controlled the clock and wore out defenses then punished quarterbacks who tried to throw. I think that the game hasn't changed all that much but the way they play it. I have hope in these talented athletes to compete just need to get it together and stop being complacent about every play from 15:00 mins in the first to 00:00 in the fourth FOOTBALL IS A GAME OF INCHES. The huskers just need to make the most out of every tiny little opportunity.I have hope I'm a Husker fan

  5. We are two plays from being three and O. But I still love this team. I think it's going in the right direction to be competitive on a national stage. I'm not worried about the team. Win or lose I'm a husker fan. Hope they can click and get it together I didn't get to watch the game I work 70+ hours a week but got updates on my phone and I was praying they'd win puts me in a bad mood when they lose

  6. I'd like to see this offense with DPE and Carter that's what I want for Xmas and I'm sure all the backs have the ability to run between the tackles. If they cover up the ball and fight for every inch than you win football games. That's what I miss the most is triple option FB dive if they don't stop the run you have congrol of the clock and that's when play action or the deep ball.I do hope we get to see Taylor because I've followed this team closely and he definitely seemed like he had the tools out of hs

  7. I feel like our line is going to be OK they are a young and inexperienced line outside of Alex Lewis. They are only going to get bigger stronger faster and learn from games like these they just seemed out of place on most screens I am not giving up on this group after their first game as a unit

    Man we should've kept Bo.

Your sarcasm notwithstanding, Bo made sure he wasn't "keepable" here in Nebraska. Every week Pelini kept pushing, probably thinking "What's it going to take to get my pink slip so I can head back East?!" Only by getting fired would he be able to keep his big pay raise. If confronting a chancellor at home wouldn't have done it, Pelini would have done something worse. It was not unlike "suicide by cop" except Pelini lived, got to back to Ohio, and keeps spending that Cornhusker money.

His brother Carl made the mistake of quitting his coaching job and didn't get a dime. Bo learned from that and separated himself from Nebraska in the only way that would pay him.

How about them ohio bobcats they got a pretty darn good coach "I'm being sarcastic ofc
  9. I expect this from a Pelini team. It's not going to be easy to unlearn what Pelini drilled into their heads. I think overall we had more quality plays. I think it's a step in the right direction and everyone second guesses the conservative prevent with one second left but I'd rather get beat by a hail Mary than have a team run 600 yards up the middle
