Would Strength & Conditioning coach not be a part of the $5 million pool?

In the interview, he said it was more about Oregon not being a fit
So do guys who have followed him or read up on him believe he can be successful at UNL eventhough he got beat out at Oregon?

Why did Terry Wilson leave Oregon to go to a Juco?

NU wanted to have a deal agreed to by Tuesday. Frost hadn't committed so on Wednesday NU started working on Fuente harder - and there was mutual interest there. However, it was agreed to give Frost until Saturday.
NU struck a tentative deal with Frost on Friday, though still working out some details - salary pool for assistants, etc. Frost has turned away all other suitors - Florida, Tennessee, etc.
Since it's only a tentative deal, he could technically still choose to remain at Central Florida but, barring a dramatic change-of-heart on Frost's part - everything is set to go.
Is this speculation or did you read/hear it somewhere?

What I want to know about Scott Frost and UF is how hard did UF really push before moving on and how many dollars are we talking about or if he flat out told UF no once or more than once.
What is annoying about the national media in regards to Nebraska and Scott Frost is not a single time have I see any of them talk about the connections the rest of the UCF staff has to the Midwest, past employment with Scott Frost, and Nebraska ties (several of them). They always revert to the dumb recruiting talk. Then you have people on ESPN like Booger McFarland saying Nebraska has zero chance at Scott Frost after he lost is favorite puppy - he wanted Frost at UF really bad.
Booger's comments today on College Football Live go to show how out of touch the national media is about our coaching search. When Booger was asked what the chances were of Frost going to Nebraska his response was "slim to none".
On the flip side of that I really hope that we aren't the delusional ones.

I'm with Jessica here that on the computer Twitter shows who someone is following in chronological order. On my mobile twitter account twitter shows people I follow and who the person I am looking at follows first, then it seems to show me suggestions of people it thinks I would be interested in following next.

Did jessica’s husband finally join the board?
Just calling it how I see it. Are some of Jessica's insights probably made up? Yes. But the way you called her out isn't the best way to do that

I'm starting to hope he doesn't, just so you can eat crow and run back to your cave. Your snide and cocky attitude is absolutely exhausting.

Yea. That’s from November 1st. Odds have been removed for last few days

Florida did not fire their coach mid-season to wait till Dec to contact one of their top targets.
Florida reached out to Frost's agent a month ago. What this guy is saying in his tweet is that Florida has not talked to Frost directly because he is still coaching his team.

Where did you see that ? I haven’t seen updated odds in a few days.
It was on a site called Betonline.ag. The site was linked from a Bovada article

Updated odds to be Florida's next head coach: Frost -150, Mullen +400, Norvell +600
Now I don't trust these lines as pointing to who will be the next coach but still interesting to see who people are putting their money on. Has anyone seen any odds for who will be the Nebraska coach come next year?

Let's assume Scott Forst gets announced as our next head coach. How do you think B1G West fans (MN, Purdue, WI, etc) will react to the news? B1G East powers like Ohio State, MI and PSU will just be happy we finally made a big time hire and would welcome the competition. I suspect fans of B1G West teams will have a "oh crap" type of response.
Heard from a trusted source that the B1G West teams have all planned to forfeit their games against us for the next 10 years if Frost is hired.

I'm not yet officially retired (too young), but stopped working years ago (inheritance -> stock market). Instead I'm now wasting my life reading this thread.
I should be brain-storming some ideas for a role-playing game session involving demons/horror (Cthulhu), savages, and an expedition deep into the Amazon jungle in 1921 (think Doc Savage).
Humble brag

If Frost continues to have the success he is currently having, he will be a very hot commodity. Took over a 0-12 team, goes 6-7 with a bowl victory and in year 2 ranked in the top 20.....All of this with another guys players or his VERY young guys with one full year in his system....and an offense that in 2015 was dead last....
If the new AD wants Frost, the feelers need to go out now and get ready to get into a bidding war.
Here is a great quote from UCF's DC, Erik Chinander, a guy I'm pretty sure Frost will ask to come along: Sounds nothing like "bend don't break"....
In general terms, Chinander envisions using "multiple" schemes that shift between three- and four-down linemen and brings pressure.
"In this day and age of the way offensive football is going, the way to win games on defense is sacks plus turnovers minus explosive plays," he said, according to the Sentinel. "We want to get the ball back in these guys' hands as much as possible, so we have to be aggressive, we have to take some chances."
Ucf lost 31-13 to Arkansas State
