The lack of activity in this thread illustrates just how underwhelmed everyone is by this game. My fear is the team doesn't really care either. Thatd be a sad way to end the season. Hope we can come out with a lot of energy.

Higher seed plays at home regardless right? So there's still a chance at a home game if we can win one or two on the road and some teams in our bracket get upset?

Yep, there's nothing to play for at this point. No home crowd, just, "well no one thinks we're worth a s#!t". I totally understand if they come not caring and just wanting to move on to next year.

Hypothetical. Kansas misses late three, or Gill makes late three... We make the tournament? seems kinda crazy that one shot determines whether or not we are better than 16+ teams.

One point from a win over a one seed, One suspension and injury from a win over a tournament team (minnesota). The universe hates Nebrasketball. I get it, we f*cked up at OSU and Purdue, but OU can drop 8 of their last 10 and get in? I get not making the tournament, but how the hell do we not get one home game in the NIT. Slap in the face indeed.

Isn't that a different committee though? out best chance was the committee taking into account non-metrics like no big 10 team missing the tourney with 13 wins, the minnesota win, lack of Q1 games at home, etc 

Real chance we are a 2 seed in NIT, but first four out in NCAA or vice versa.

I'm guessing we'll be a two seed in the NIT. Sure hope I'm wrong though.

Gus Johnson is calling the last two games tonight.

We just can't win when we're not playing in the arena with the best home court advantage in the B1G. That said, assuming we get a 1 or 2 seed in the NIT, we've got a decent chance to make a run.

We NEEDED to win this game to go dancing so no matter how we lost it wouldn't have mattered. 

I get what you mean, no emotional crash  after a heartbreaker, but I'd rather lose close than get blown out

At least now we don't have to nervously await selection Sunday. NIT bound, or a surprise ncaa bid if other bubble teams completely fall apart.

Not trying to pick on you but this is why people complain about officiating is such a bad look.  Most of the time they have no idea what they are talking about.  You don't have to be set to take a charge.  Never have.  Several examples of the rule book of not being set and calling a charge.  

IIRC, there was no foul there, roby was driving to the basket, no elbows, knees, Wagner just stepped in front and he wasn't set. That still a foul on roby?

Story of the night is that we choked though.

Same here, been nervous all week. Hopefully we can shutdown Wagner again. Also can't have any significant scoring droughts. 

This is the moment we need to show that we're a tournament team, we're certainly capable, but don't always play like it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but we're now 4th in the first four out on bracket matrix. Included on nine brackets.
