Moos should hire Sumlin for the day.  Then come into the press conference and say,  "We're here to announce the next head coach at Nebraska" and have Sumlin get up to the podium .... and introduce Frost.

I wonder if he'd be held responsible for all the heart attacks.

It'd be funnier if we hired Bert to do it

Former ASU staff including Tim Cassidy who was affiliated with the Huskers previously and from Omaha?  He is director of football operations at ASU and maybe they are looking to replace Devaney?  I am just speculating.

  3. Don't know if this has been talked  about in this thread or another thread but ESPN FPI hit the nail on the head back in April on how this season would go . Obviously the computers couldn't account for Tanner Lee's ability to throw touchdowns to NIU defenders but everything else was spot on. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/blogs/espn-s-football-power-index-doesn-t-give-nu-much/article_a3754ca0-1a38-11e7-9afc-0b2fc235b571.html

Wouldn't you just love to sit down with Bud Foster or Brent Venebles and ask them what makes a good DC?  I wonder what they would say.

You have to know a bunch of really big words but have no idea how to use em in context.... that's what a former Broyles award winner once told me
