Good deal.
Cuz terrorists are honest.

Pretty sure if they had Tommie Frazier on the roster, they wouldn't transition to the passing offense, they would keep the shotgun zone read, since they have already been running it.
He's saying the team today. Armstrong isn't on the team and they're looking for a traditional passer.
If you believe a team that started Tommy Armstrong wouldn't have started Tommie Frazier I have some ocean front property in Arizona you should be interested in.
Who was a statue, Rutz (sp?)?
i kinda like the irony of this post as the other qb taken in this class was a statue who transferred within the first two years.Isn't he a dual-threat QB? I bet he's 4th string and transfers after the 1st year.....he doesn't fit our style.
He blew at least one of his knees out and was never the same.
The irony is if Frazier were an 18 year old freshman on the team today, he likely is the 4th teamer and never sees the field.
Arguably the greatest college QB of all time. That should be a huge concern.
That said the "point" is pretty bad.
Frazier wouldn't have started in front of Peyton Manning at Tenneasee. Manning wouldn't have started in front of Frazier. It isn't a "huge concern" that coaches want players who fit their offense.
Doubtful. This garbage offense is what it is....garbage.
They would have had no use for one of the greatest QBs in the history of the sport.
Which explains the head coach's record. Garbage.

Said on periscope he knows of 5 silent commits, didnt say for 17 or 18 though
Lol!
I'd love to place a bet on this.
Anyhow, talent needs to improve across the board ....I'd love to see it improve where it really counts.
Not for pass catching WRs and immobile QBs.

Thats why tommy did so well in the new scheme right?
Because it's a flat out bull crap excuse. Plain and simple.
I dont see how everyone doesnt understand this
Lol, bad ingredients. Other than one spice (Gates) that was versatile enough to be in both style of foods.
So you are a chef at a restaurant. You are a very good italian chef. However you have to use all the ingredients that were left by the former chef. He just happened to cook mexican cuisine. Your food taste like crap. Where is the problem?
Yes. That's what he is getting paid for.Im more worried about #1,playing the best guys AND #2, having some quality backups ready to play. Get to teaching and coaching!! If i only had 1 plan for my business at all times and it failed i would be broke. Hes getting paid very well to have more than just 5 guys that can play well. Hell, last year we were lucky to have one most of the time.
and that's on a second year lineman coach???
We're not talking about QB play. But I digress, a garbage scheme is a garbage scheme. This offense will set the program back years, if not decades. See 2004-2007.

Still think he'll be N on Wednesday
Not saying that we don't have a chance, but I don't consider him to be a commit at this point. 80% committed is not a commit.

Bloodbath
Imagine practice haha
Can you imagine that DB class with this WR class? Talk about talent in those positions and depth! We have thought for awhile he was N...smoke....fire. looking like a blades and lenoir DB class is coming to fruition. Good god L. Jackson with these 2
Lol. No.

80% committed.
lol. So now I can qualify what percent of committed I am.
Try that with your significant other and see how that goes.

I don't know that much about football, I take in from others smarter than me to form my opinions, so I can easily be put in my place...my point...I have wondered if this kid is a defender as opposed to an OL. He doesn't appear to have the wide body or thick hips like most successful OL. It doesn't surprise me to hear that they want him on DL instead of OL. Either way, excited to see him crack into the lineup.
I agree.
So is he actually going to start out at DT?
-
True enough, however, when's the last time you heard someone say 'one bad tomato spoils the whole bushel'?
The saying is true. One bad apple can and will spoil all the rest if left in the barrel.
Is that saying actually true? Like, if you have one spoiled apple are the other ones now bad too?
All it takes is one bad apple to spoil the entire barrel.
I think the whole "buying in" thing was overblown in 2015, but that's just me.Sorry, but I view this guy as a disapppointment. Creating dissent last year by not "buying in" and not going to class this year and letting his team down.
Gerry's INT's against Wisconsin enabled NU to take that game to OT, and he played well the rest of the season. Yes, him not going to class all season is very dumb, but he's only one player on a team of over 100 players.
*Edit* You can save the barrel, or most of it, by removing the bad one(s) in time. However, left alone, that one bad apple WILL spoil all the rest.
I have heard any spoiled perishable item stored in a confined space and in close proximity will accelerate spoilage. USDA refuses to confirm or deny at this time
We must have had some pretty odd produce. Spoiled for 9 games, magically fresh for a stretch of 12 games, then suddenly spoiled again for the last 5.

I just googled it and may have imagined it. That said, I'm not seeing how he gets suspended for getting C's which would be a 2.0. Guess he could've gotten 2 B's and 2 D's. I don't know the rules.
Do you have a link to those reports? I thought it was just a message board rumor.
There were news reports saying he got a 0.0. Does this suddenly make that go away? You don't get a 0.0 by missing part of one group project and not doing an online class. Unless he only needed 6 credits. If that's the case it's not like it makes it any better. So the reports of him not going to class all semester were probably exaggerated? I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked.
YahooGerry was suspended for the final game of his Huskers career one interception short of the school record, too and was forced to watch his team lose to Tennessee, 38-24, in the Music City Bowl. The suspension was over an academic violation in which Gerry told Shutdown Corner he had a class predicament after he thought he was going to get a bone thrown [his] way but did not.
I was disappointed in myself, he said. I missed a chunk of my group project and I came up three credits short from an online class.
Gerry flew down to the bowl game on his own dime along with his family and tried to offer up whatever support he could without being able to play.
Gerry's doing what he can to get drafted higher, including making his fall semester look less bad.
Also, his explanation is very vague. How do you come up 3 credits short from an online class? I can't think of what that could mean besides getting an F.
Yeah, I really don't know. It is odd, that's for certain. Maybe it was a 3 credit class.

Huh. It's another one of those urban myths that is presented as facts. Kind of like:
The previous coach never made staff changes.
Taylor Martinez never got any better.
Crouch quit the team and went home.
Frazier and Berringer hated each other.
Solich was fired for being a drunk/messing with coeds/etc, etc, etc.

6 and 6 ish seems about right, give or take a win.

Are you sure the thing replacing it will be less detrimental?
Or, like me, they've found out how devastatingly detrimental the ACA is and they'd like it gone.Maybe they didn't want to pay the penalty for not signing up?!?!?
Going back to the pre-ACA would be better. Not sure about what the current administration has planned but maybe we just have to get it jammed down our throats to see what it is, just like they did with the ACA.
-
so I'd expect that you'd have some real empathy and understanding for all individuals. Or at least some.
You just seem very bitter, angry, unaware and cynical.I have plenty of empathy for those deserving it.
I'm very cynical, and rightfully so. The others, not so much.

I think cornstar would be better served to just come out and say what he finds so darn defensible, even redeeming?...about Kintner.
Personally nothing. The only redeeming quality about him is that he is one of the few conservative voices in our left leaning Unicameral.
What does anyone find defensible or redeeming about Ernie?
-
Seriously???? This is all you got when putting it up against what Kintner has shown?
The way he bullies around his fellow legislatures (well, that's their fault because their spineless), the obstructionism, the hissy fits when he doesn't get his way, the racist remarks he makes, etc. What was he censured for last year, I forget?
Educate me.With all the BS that Ernie gets away with, what Kintner has done pales in comparison.
Oh, he doesn't even live in the district that he is supposed to represent.
#fail
Yes. Kintner being a scumbag and retweeting a joke pale in comparison to being a racist and advocating murdering police officers.
If you don't agree, that's not on me.

It is refreshing that a supposed Republican President is fighting the left wing establishment. He's not rolling over like the Bushes did.
