  1. Suspended for three games. One of those does include their game against #16 TCU.

Suspension of three games seems weird. I guess they look at it as nothing illegal was done but he could have done more earlier. Worst things to me were the discussion of and deletion of texts older than one year from Meyer's phone after the scandal broke and his initial statements. Board concluded he wasn't deliberately lying but I'm not sure how...

I notice there's no position listed for Ruud, on either the tweet or the Huskers.com page. Are they still deciding on that one, or is it because he'll be in a non-coaching assistant position?

Thought I had seen LB coach mentioned in one of the announcements yesterday.

Ha, as I’m watching and enjoying the upset they announce that and all I can think is Nebraska must now be involved with ALL records of futility. I mean that game had nothing to do with us but then they point that out.....fml.

Yeah, then same thing with the ASU game. Last time they had beat a top 5 team was us in '96.

    Observations:

    • Georgia has an interesting dispersion
    • Clemson's area seems lacking
    • UCF is well ahead of DONU
    • How does Miami/Florida State will not affect the state of Florida?
    • Maryland has more to lose than tOSU this weekend
    • Including Alaska really skews the area standings

On the reddit thread, somebody mentioned that FIU is actually closer than Miami for all counties other than Dade so Miami basically started with nothing.

There was at least 1 play on a 3rd down where our DB basically sprinted back 12 yards away from the WR and then Illinois snapped the ball and the QB immediately threw it right to him and he got the 1st down.

It's baffling that we do this.

Just watched the game and this jumped out early. It was Jackson who then got stiff armed and thrown down by the WR on his way to an easy first down. Also, for us being good against the run, the Illini sure ran over us their first couple drives of the game. In fact, their field goal drives could've both easily been touchdowns. The first one their back missed jumping his run outside to an easy TD and the second one, their best WR simply dropped the ball. Game could've been 21-14 right there. I've definitely seen some improvements on defense but let's hold back from declaring a turnaround.
