Most complete game we have played this year last Thursday night. Totally dominated our rival in the conference in all phases. What do you guys think will happen with the coach situation there after the season?

He had a nasty back muscle pull against SMU and it was a gametime decision to play him. He was 80-85% at best, so most ASU fans are letting him slide on the 4 picks. He did make good throws when needed. Just have a ton of stuff to clean up defensively. Get a cakewalk for homecoming so that will give us a chance to work on some things.

Yeah it was a horrible performance. Hansen can be forgiven as he was not 100% but really wanted to play and made plays when he needed to. Defensively we just are not very good at all as we should have controlled the game from the start. GSU is awful and will do well to win 2-3 games. Not one facet can be looked at and say it went well other than the final score. Many ASU fans are disappointed despite the win. More questions than answers as Georgia Southern is picked near the bottom of the league. 

That was a really nice rally in the second half. (Since we didnt have a game,  every ASU fan I know was pulling for Nebraska). The defense turned it up a notch, just too much to overcome. Autzen field is a tough venue and a long trip. Huskers should run off three wins in a row now. 4-1 will be pretty good in anyone's book. 

I had no problem with the game being canceled(well...maybe at first I did....the timing was odd with the options we gave them). It was the Miami fans showing up on our message board and using awful language about we got a break by not playing them that got me irked. Yeah ASU fans were a little upset about the game being canceled but there was no reason to take it as far as some of their lowlife fans did. It was so bad that several of them got permanent bans..and you have to really screw up to get banned on our site. 

Geeeeez. I can see why there is bad blood there between the Huskers and the Chickens.  A lot of Miami fans have been downright mean spirited about the cancellation. Saying our close game with Nebraska meant nothing because Nebraska was fat and slow(more than one said this).  They just can't understand how low class it was for their admin. to cancel the game when ever other Florida team is still playing Saturday. It was well known that Richt wanted to cancel the game when he was hired. They needed a way out and got it. Really, really sorry and pathetic. Their fans are awful. Several have been banned for dropping F bombs on our board. 

Btw...apologies for the totally horrible jerseys were wore out there. Those things need to be burned. No ASU fans I talked to were happy about those.

Agreed. We had some issues here and there and the soft defense was disturbing to watch but overall I thought we looked better than the last few seasons. I think some people aren't (and probably never will) giving Arky St the credit they deserve. That was a solid football team, who played very well, even if they are a Sunbelt team. Well have a much better idea where we stack up after next week. If Miami blows their doors off and Oregon takes us behind the woodshed then I'll be concerned.

Thanks for that. This ASU team is regarded by many as the most talented we have ever had. Just have to go out and back that up. Many ASU fans thought if things went right that we could be in it in the 4th quarter. Now we have some things to improve on to gear up and open up a can of whup@$$ on Miami next Saturday. Same thing with Nebraska, things to work on and improve to go up there and spank Oregon.

This^^^^  You guys will be fine. Typical first game mistakes and miscues from both teams. Were talking about the same stuff on AStateNation.  At least playing someone else you get to see what some of the weaknesses are and work on them.

It was a learning experience for a totally new O-line. I was impressed by Tre Bryant, he is really fast. Tanner Lee put all his long balls on target. First game mistakes on both sides, Huskers just made the plays they needed to make.

Just cheer for us next week when the Miami Hurricanes come to Jonesboro. We will need all the help we can get. 

Huskers won that game with defense. No running game for us. Very nice gesture with the sign for coach Anderson's wife. You'll have a really good season if keep playing like that.

90-95% chance he plays according to coach Anderson. Been doing well the past few days in drills with no groin issues.

Stand corrected. I had Ferguson on the brain for some reason. I'm more familiar with the kicker named Luke than the "blah" website adminstrator with the same name. 

I'd say its 50/50 Liner plays @Nebraska....maybe less. He keeps telling the coaches he will be good but they may decide to hold him until the Miami game. We will certainly need him then. 

TE Blake Mack will be one of the better TE's Nebraska will see this year. He doesn't fit the typical TE mold...is more of a muscular WR who runs great routes and has great hands. Nebraska has always been known for having huge linemen and I'm assuming that's the case this year too. ASU has bulked up on both sides and has quality depth so it will be interesting in the trenches.

AstateNation.com would have been a much better resource than Rivals. There are several professional beat writers on staff there who follow the team closely. First to correct a statement by Luke Ferguson; he stated the QB spot was still undecided when in fact Coach Anderson said after the spring the job solidly belonged to Justice Hansen, the transfer from OU who led the team last year and solidly improved during spring practices.
