Thanks for that correction. I’ve had my first and last name butchered my whole life so I appreciate it when someone corrects me in the spelling of a name so thanks!
Hawke with an 'E' on the end is definitely tricky. Can't say I get how you can mess up Lady.

Not a good analogy, IMO. What I remember most of Steve Spurrier is his a** getting handed to him in the Fiesta Bowl and all those faces he made...
Yeah, 4 BCS wins and a national title in 12 years at Florida. That guy blows.

I believe his point is that some fans have created a toxic environment that makes it tough to feel support as a player, attract a top flight AD and possibly a new coach. The level of entitlement amongst some in our fan base has reached the level of the terrible two’s. But hey, keep putting up billboards telling the AD how to do his job.
You think you didn't attract a top flight AD?

Does Riley get another year if we win out? I think he does... and I'm torn whether I like that or not.
But does he get another year if aliens abduct all of our HC candidates?
Both scenarios equally likely.- 3

Haha, UCF has a Keep Frost Fund now, so the can raise money to, um, keep Frost.
They can put it toward their next HC I spose...
I need one of those big Nascar checks so I can fit all the 0's in his salary.

Identifying your customers/stake holders and and getting input from everyone involved. Good approach.
Anxious to see how the coach search goes (if we have one).
I came here to chew gum and fire coaches... And I'm all out of gum.

Frost's agent is going to ream me so hard this offseason. He's buying KY in bulk as we speak. Every post you people make increases his salary by 10k.

he's fit in at washington and texas. 2 pretty polar opposite states and universities in terms of culture.
Both border an ocean. Nebraska does not. Where would Mike make port? I would never land lock the pirate.

God damn, I'm really proud of myself right now. For 2 reasons. Because I was pissed about the s#!tty hire and the other is for giving the guy a chance and believing in him as a Husker.
But can you spell Mike Riley correctly yet?

You're a Nebraska fan, I hoped you'd be used to disappointment by now.

The year is 1996. A young Scott Frost sits in his Life Choices 287 class messing around with his teammates towards the back of the room. The Professor calls out Young Frost and encourages him to listen to this particular lecture. The professor continues his lecture on adapting to change and learning from others to ascend to your full potential. Frosty took these words to heart and went on to learn from the likes of Tom Osborn, Bill Belichick, and Chip Kelly. Frost adapted these men's philosophies and word to become the best coach in College Football. Who was that UNL Professor you ask? None other than Albert Einstain.
Are you on drugs?

There's not enough acid in the state of Nebraska for me to trip hard enough to hire Craig Bohl.

Thanks for sharing. I don't get the 'same personality as Mike Rikey' comparison though. This guy seems tough. Riley is kind of soft to me. Mr. Moos seems like someone who would play smashmouth football vs. Riley's 'finess' type of football. I also don't think the NU administration will let Riley stay not after the season we've had so far.
Riley is like a fine leather loafer. I'm more of a steel toed Kodiak work boot.

So, I'm not sure how this works. Does Moos have full authority over hiring and firing of coaches? Or, would it be reasonable to expect him to work with others within the administration on hiring? Just curious.
Lone wolf baby. Flying solo on the 14 firings I need to accomplish in the next 3 weeks.

None of you pansies deserve Leach.
You'll get Joe Ganz and you'll like it. He can scare off some more 5* qbs at frat parties.

Yeah but I allowed him to recruit with female escorts and roid up the lines sooo, I'll go ahead and take credit for that championship now.
How will you spend your bye week Saturday?

I'll be driving dump trucks full of cash to Scott Frost's residence in Florida. Should be a pretty nice Saturday. Might even go to Home Depot if I have time.
