It's been a pleasure watching Drew throughout his career here.

Yeah, which would make him the 17th highest paid coach behind Dantonio.
That'd be a nice jump of 40 spots. I hope it happens.
-
My main question for SF if he's hired is if he's going to bring back the Blackshirt helmet sticker

New rumors about a 6 year 26 million dollar offer to frost. CBS also reporting Florida is honing in on Kelly, with Mullen and Frost as secondary targets.
So that'd be around 4.3 million per year?

Frost may have told them he is staying at UCF before Nebraska offered, or because he didn't want Nebraska deal leaked to press. Either way it doesn't worry me too much. If he doesn't take our offer now he never will. What would waiting 1 year do? If this is his dream job as he has said publicly he won't turn it down
Good point.

I am confident that Kelly is next HC at Florida. Wish I was as confident in Frost coming to Nebraska. I stick with my original prediction that he stays put. Just wish I knew who our 2nd choice is.
If Frost stays at UCF instead of coming to Nebraska, man that would be a punch to the gut.

Thank God. They were a huge worry to stealing Frost. For whatever reason Tennessee doesn't worry me, maybe it's because they are so focused on Gruden, or maybe they still associate Frost to 1997. Either way, Florida closing is a good thing for Nebraska.
Agreed. I think Tennessee is more obsessed with Gruden then we are with Frost lol

Browsing the Gator boards, it looks like an announcement will be made either tomorrow or this week for Chip Kelly as their HC.

Hopefully Tanner will be alright.

PS he literally ratted out his source lolz
i don't want to get him in trouble... but he's a blackshirt. He's a starter.
rabble, rabble, rabble.
Oh yeah he's also from Nebraska.
Oh, so it's either Mick or Gifford, since Weber wouldn't be concerned about who he wants as his coach for next year as he is a senior.
What an idiot, but I hope he is right haha.
He clarified by saying "he is not from the state of Nebraska. Just that he is currently in Nebraska. He was a recruit from the Midwest. No more information at this time. Thanks."

Thanks for the info.
Not being a smart a$$, but I think the whole football world knows he's gone. This just gives clarity to a date....Any idea who the player was?
The guy stated he was a Blackshirt and from Nebraska so that leaves us with three options as to who it could be.

According to the Blackshirt Alert Show on FB.
"1. Players have been told by the athletic department that coach Riley is gone at the end of the season.
2. The coaches have lost the team. The coaches insist that nothing is wrong.
3. Riley and staff are only finishing the season to keep the waters calm.
4. Players almost unanimously want “Coach Frost” as the next head coach.
5. Surprisingly this player I talked favorite coach is Diaco."- 1

I know Ruud is on Frost's staff at UCF. What about him for LB coach?

I'm not so sure it is Scott that is bleeding us for $$$$, more so his agent which is understandable. Hopefully Scott will come home!

It runs in the family. My mom was born and raised in Nebraska. She met my Dad at Wayne State college (He was also a Husker fan) and my Uncle went to the University. I attended my first game in 1994 (that I remember) when I was 7 years old and fell in love.

Isn't he at Liberty with Turner Gill?

This is from August.

I was thinking about this last night as I was trying to sleep but I can't remember for the life of me if there's ever been such a head coaching candidate that the fan base would get behind like Frost AND the administration has been open about their gushing feelings for the man.
It gives me the sense that they're zeroed in on SF.

Florida insider is saying tonight that he is hearing that Tom Osborne will be offering the job to Scott Frost. I doubt that is an official offer where ink goes to paper, but could be a gentlemen agreement type of thing.
Could Coach Osborne do that even though he's not a member of the Athletic Department??
