    Read else where that Tosh Lupoi would/could possibly be a DC candidate. But either him or Kevin steele would be incredible. Imagine either of those two working the defense with SF on the offense...

    As in " Hey Mike, you know since you are a caring, understanding guy with lots of love for this state and all, and since you really have not done your job for a year or so, how about leaving some money back for the honest hard working people of this state?  With that kind of lucrative money, isn't there some sort of expectation of performance, and was that expectation met?  

     

    I mean we have kids who can't afford tuition, single parent homes, and this dough could really make a difference.  That is a LOT of money.  You could fund an entire academic department at the U or any of the State colleges for that and let kids in FREE.  This is not play money.

     

    Now I know he doesn't owe us anything contractually.  But given what that money could mean for our state and our people, shouldn't somebody at least ask?

    Ditto. To add, he's like that person you knew from high school who still goes to the high school football games even though they're too old for it and it's weird.

    I can't lie he has some compelling reasons to stay. I think coming home is a huge draw though. That's why I think it's really between UCF and NU at this point.

     

    It would be interesting to see that if - and that's a big if - Scott Frost decides to stay at UCF and we go with something else (like a Gundy or Peterson just for example), if that would somewhat close the door on Frost coming to Nebraska in the future. While he most certainly could come back to Nebraska, but pending on what kind of deal in length he would sign, makes it a bit hard to forecast future circumstances. This is an interesting time.

    All right I had my fun. I will say this though if or whenever I'm banned: of the 10+ years of being on a different board, I always found myself coming to this one just to read everything, because honestly this is the best husker board out there. It's funny, people are nice to each other (for the most part), the MODs are great. I haven't seen any "Creighton fans aren't Husker fans" posts. The topics are great. That sock thing, Jim tressel, and then eventually MR being hired was bizarre and hilarious. That Jessica thing was great and weird. 

     

    Anywho, ban me all you want but you can't ban me from reading these. Unless you can. I just really love this Lane Kiffin sig pic. 

     

    Also, why some folks have doubts on the Scott Frost to Nebraska? I'm pretty confident on that.

    The UCF fans calls him Chinan(d)er because sometimes the d is there and sometimes it's not. 

     

    Thats a legit concern. How would you say recruiting has been going overall? About where it's historically been, above, below average? My main concern I think with Frost and Co is the recruiting aspect.
