For someone whose interest is mild, you're about single-handedly keeping this thread going. :D

The information on all of this is not hard to find. It's literally as difficult as going to the OP in this thread and dragging your eyes across a few articles.  Failing that, do a simple google search. I did it several times in the first few pages of this thread.

    Slow news day.

Rather talk about the state of the football program?

    ... me neither.

I'm not name calling. You are acting childish in your posts. Lets see some factual information because the fact is Trump fired Comey over the Flynn investigation and that is coming from Trump himself. That is probable cause for an investigation into obstruction of justice. What is the potential crime Biden committed and where is the probable cause for an investigation?

    Factual information is a casualty.

Flynn was the only person that Trump appointed who I liked, the first fired in the Russiagate witch hunt, and i believe now he may have been cleared of wrong doing.

The Mueller investigation had probable cause for believing the president obstructed justice. Whats the probable cause on biden and what crime should he be under investigation for?

I'd like some facts this time @Apsu

I missed that probable cause, to me it appeared as fishing since day one.

The entirity of Russiagate was a load of carp.

  4. Just now, Nebfanatic said:

Is that how criminal investigations work? No. Stop acting childish because you were wrong and have backtracked majorly from your original comments. Probable cause is still a thing

That has been reality for decades (manufacturing consent through the media).

Let's not get into name calling.

Ok so if its morally wrong but not illegal, than an investigation is an abuse of power. Thanks for clearing that up. I think Biden should have already dropped out of the race.

    Sigh...

I said that would be the end result, not the motivation.

The deeper you dig, the more likely you are to have to face the fact that this is a false story concocted by a desperate Trump trying to "both sides" his admission of wrongdoing related to the whistleblower complaint.

That you don't want to do that digging reflects poorly on you. It doesn't mean there's a story here.

I don't want to dig, because 1) my interest is mild, and 2) the info is now hard to find.

And 3), sure Trump is making s#!t up. But I never cared for the way NATO treated/used Ukraine post-Maidan, before anal wart was president.

You're free to post an opinion, but it shouldn't be a shock to receive blow back when you make claims that can't be supported by factual information.

There is quite a lot of information out there in the public sphere about this issue, but you don't seem to want to acknowledge it.

If you are talking about the parts that implicate Trump, sure... impeach the turd.

You may not be but Trump and his supporters are and that is the point. They want to make it seem like Biden is on a level playing field as Trump and should be investigated for crimes.

Let me be clear about this... Trump in a huge orange anal wart.
Neither he nor his buddy Rudy are capable of honesty.

You do realize this was in behalf of the us government and most of our European allies....2 years before his son was put on the board.

What makes you suspect influence peddling?

The IMF did facilitate a sell-off of Ukrainian assets to the west.
Yes I know, I am not providing any links, nor do I care to. I am posting opinion of mild interest to me, based on past research that I do not care to do again.

    This is manifestly not true.

Further, the people you're talking to in this thread are not Democrats. I'm not sure there are more than a handful of Democrats on this board.

I am new here, but I would assume that the majority here have a chosen political side.

And they will remain loyal to it like a Husker fan enduring the the Ohio State fiasco this past weekend.

Post a timeline of these events. You're getting a lot of things wrong because you don't know when these things happened.

    Post-Maidan, pre-Trump.

    Did I get that right?

What part did hunter have in the guy getting fired?

    Probably zilch.

But I never said that he did.

  12. As I said (but did not provide a link), that Hunter may have been involved with the IMF facilitated looting of Ukrainian assets, that may have benefited Biden donors or friends.

No I don't have links, and I don't care to find them. I posted an opinion, and I am not seeking to make a legal case.

And in closing, I have already posted on this topic ten-fold my interest level in it.

If the intent is to hurt Biden's candidacy, don't you think that's a HUGE problem?

Past records tend to hurt candidacies.

Tulsi Gabbard did not create Kamala Harris's record, she exposed it.

But to be honest, I would like to see Biden out of the race.

  14. 3 minutes ago, Nebfanatic said:

Joe Biden, the person who got Shokin fired, was a US official. I'm not a democrat, there just isn't anything there. If there was go right ahead, I don't care for Biden. But the fact of the matter is when I look at the FACTS of the situation, and I look at the people telling me to pay attention to this, it becomes pretty clear what all this is. Until I see some evidence to the contrary, I'm gonna believe Biden was doing his job.

And continuing to propagate the circle... you won't see evidence unless there is an investigation.

Again, that all may be morally wrong, but it isn't corrupt or illegal. He was doing nothing wrong as he was working on behalf of our government and their interests. Whether or not that is what is in the best interest of the American people or Ukranian people is another subject entirely. But the idea Biden should be investigated for this is still looking to be nothing more than a distraction strategy/conspiracy theory. What is the crime?

And as I said, nobody will go to jail over this.

But it will hurt Biden's candidacy (being morally wrong).
