  1. I have to say, all the whining going on up in Michigan these days is really disappointing. Michigan's argument about how they would of won if Dennard wasn't injured is akin to a junk bond investor bragging about beating the average if his chips all fall right. Guess what, you had four years to build up a team around Dennard, but you didn't.. the only one to blame is themselves.

With Michigan State.. wow.. cherry picking bad penalties as a justification for why you should of won is just ridiculous. Guess what, hitting a defenseless offensive player on an interception is against the rules.. in fact, the rule is called the Sapp rule in the NFL. Even if we getting rid of penalties in the game and giving them points, by my estimates, we still win by a point (or if we go to overtime, by more). For example, taking 4 off of MSU's score to counter the late hit penalty, but adding the 7 for the pick 6 still leaves them in the hole by a point. GET OVER IT.. babies.

While I'm at it.. Nebraska would of crushed Michigan in 97.

    That is all.

Surprised (unless i am blind and didn't see it) there was no mention of the "late" hit on the Mich St QB on their last scoring drive. That drive should of ended with a field goal attempt not a TD due to the bad call against Nebraska. Nothing Stafford could of done when pushed into the QB as he is going out of bounce by a Mich St wide out. I don't mind poor officiating, just as long as it is consistently poor for both teams and it was for this game. Mich St players, coaches and fans should stick their heads back in the sand and get over it.

  2. "it would at least set up a "big game" in Lincoln for the first time in awhile. That would reawaken some strong memories and allow a trip to Misty's on Friday night. "

I am confused, there hasn't been a big game in Lincoln for awhile?...What constitutes a big game then? Oklahoma or Texas coming to town is not a big game i guess.

  3. Send the one of the Mods a PM. Posting it for everyone to see would kind of defeat the purpose of having a password. :)

lol, yah, figured that, was just getting it out there so someone could PM me with the password..Will be awaiting my PM...thanks!

  4. The pitcher we faced today is one of the best pitchers in the nation.

If you want to jump off the band wagon go ahead. I still will be rooting for

    them on Saturday.

Not any better of a pitcher then was faced in the Big 12 this year. And i don't think anyone is jumping off the bandwagon, but if you are happy with this teams performance, then good for you, I for one am very disappointed.

  5. Steve Octavian with a good season will go pro after this year.

wasn't the same thing said of bowman last year? maybe we should let the kid play a few games before handing him the butkus award.

Don't remember it said he was going to win anything, but it did say WITH A GOOD SEASON, which is true, if he does indeed have a good season, chances are high he would go pro.

  6. Members involved with husker basketball in any way at all are leaving left and right...this is the result of Pederson not canning Collier as he should have. This is getting out of hand and it needs to stop somewhere because it is only going to get worse...bottom line is Collier is dragging us down with him. Sad but true.

I was about to post something like this. I am not one to bash any of the coaches or AD's, but this seems completely crazy that Steve P. has kept Collier around. Coaches leaving, no other coaches not wanting to come in, players leaving the team.....Just blows my mind! Wish i knew what was going through the minds of the people making these decisions to keep Collier around.
