Fair enough to have your subjective perspective.  That is what is nice about these forums we are all allowed to look at the same product displayed on the field and come to completely different conclusions.  I tend to be an optimist but also have a day job where I am evaluating leaders in my organization.  Somewhere in Season 2 is when I began to have concerns about the abilities with Frost and his staff and those trends have continued into year 3.  I am not seeing good leadership, player development or decision making by this staff on a regular basis.  These are key traits a good coaching staff should possess but they continue to be lacking.  I am hopeful this staff and team will eventually show reasons for optimism, but I have a feeling we will have to wait til 2021 to see those.

2021 will be when the curtain comes down and we see what is really going on

Maybe the best thing is to cut loose of the one last thing we’re the best at? The sellout streak. Maybe we can’t go forward until we hit bottom. 20 years of narcissism.

This cannot be fun for fans or players.

20 years of narcissism is right. If I was the HC, I would basically come out and say, "hey what happened in the past is awesome, but we have to do our own thing. Retire the blackshirts, find new traditions. Make our own culture, instead of trying to live off of someone else's." Trying to 'revive the glory days' is not going to work imo. Make your own traditions and culture. Stop acting entitled, 'we are Nebraska.' Whats that supposed to mean? You are 11-20 the past 3 years. Get better.

Don't look the schedule for next year.

As far as Frost, it's terrible. The 2020 Huskers are in the conversation for worst Husker team of all time. It cannot be overstated how bad they are at almost every aspect of football.

I think the 2017 squad may be worse, but not by much

We weren't the villains. Not then. Not now.

We just didn't have much of a team this year.

If the Huskers had come out on fire and been any kind of factor in the Big 10, we would have been a feelgood story and the Big 10 would have welcomed it, like they did Indiana. If anything the media has been nicer to Nebraska than our own fans. Like it or not, the unexpected failure of Scott Frost's return to Nebraska is a story. Otherwise there's not much reason to talk about Nebraska at all.

Is it better to be talked about in a negative way, or not talked about at all? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This program is in such a bad

place it’s hard to know where to begin.  Frost should be ashamed to accept his $5M comp for the terrible state of a program 3 years into his tenure.  No excuses.  If this happened in corporate America he would have been canned long ago.

It's like trying to plug holes in a boat made out of swiss cheese

Getting Dragged by Illinois and Minnesota (down 30+ guys) on twitter, because they kicked our asses when we were begging for football back has me at wit's end. The OSUs, Wisc, Iowa's don't even bother with us anymore. We're just back here in the fetal position getting kicked by freaking Illinois and Minnesota.

I hate getting made fun of like this. I hope the next head coach runs up the score against Minny and Illinois. Just a hope though. We are the worst team in the B1G. Maybe one of the worst in the country. This will unfortunately continue for years, with no end in sight
