Gosh, would you rather lose to Northwestern the way we did in Year 5, or lose to Appalachian State at home with the recruiting classes and expectations that Texas A&M has....or to Marshall at home....or....

I can’t accept ksux can is more attractive for recruits. They players they have obviously play harder. All of this falls on frost. More evidence that it is time for a change.
Don’t worry. Everything is fine……………………………..

Quinn Ewers looks goooooood.

They have the same coaches so guessing it wouldn't help
Eh, I’d prefer to know at this point and not guess. If the guys at the top aren’t putting in the effort or showing the energy, sit them down and let someone else give it a shot.

At what point do you put in second and third string o-line just to see what they can do? It can not get any worse.

Calm down guys. you have to remember that they are still kids. dont be so mean. but it was a dumb mistake but get over it.
Give me a break. He’s a 23 year old adult and has been probably playing football for a decade. By the time I was his age, I had been living on my own for seven years. It’s a stupid play by a player who should not be on the field.

You drinkin' that Kool-Aid again? There are 130 FBS teams I believe.
Hey, I said “have a shot.” Definitely still not a given.

If they’d just expand it to 128 teams we might have a shot.

Some real sad sacks in this thread.
A lot to work on, but a lot of positives. It’s game one, international setting, a ton of new guys playing their first game together. Not sunshine pumping here, but also not ready to off myself over this performance.

We’ve played well in the second half this year. Crowd will be lit and this game will get interesting. We open it up out of the half.

Hold up. Tulane is easily the best CFB team in Louisiana. That happens to them every now and then
Well, some might argue that we’re the best football team in Nebraska, so maybe there’s a chance………………..

I'd say more than Morgan this game was close because Ibrahim playing well and Stroud playing poorly. Also the overturned pick. I honestly have no idea who would have more guys start where and then that could be spun any way you want. If we have more guys that could start there we are wasting talent. If they have more guys that could start here we just haven't developed correctly.
@Kayvanyeah it's just weird to come in to compliment Morgan just to talk s#!t on Martinez when no one mentioned him.
I mean, this is a Husker board…

He has barely done anything and is extremely lucky to not have two picks this game. He also has a super effective running game to help him out. The way people on here f#&%ing tongue bath other players just to put ours down is kinda sad.
No tongue bath here. Just acknowledging a guy with lesser talent who stays calm and helps his put his team in a position to win…or at least be competitive.

Tanner Morgan still sux though
Yet much more effective than Adrian Martinez in every way. Even shows a little emotion and urgency, and knows how to throw the ball on a line.

It's odd how quiet Desmond Howard has been about this situation.

I think the damning negativity around the program is probably so great that they get excited at the tiniest wins. That's on the coaches. They've ruined these kids mentally and emotionally.
