  1. No doubt. Also consider that neither team can really pass.

They really can't pass with out a healthy running game. Nebraska might have an advantage. If one back isn't working, try another. Sproles isn't working so well, but he can easily break loose and one would think Nebraska is the team to do it against

  2. Yes horne should transfer, probably down to division 2. Uno would be a decent choice but they do have some good backs, he could probably start though. I still think horne has a lot of talent but it just hasn't worked out with him.

That's been the story of his life. Even when he was in a high school all star game his senior season he was easily the best I-back in the state, but he didn't start because he's a slacker. I remember the article in the paper.

  3. Let's also keep things in perspective also. This is a true freshman who has played very little and was recruited by Solich, who according to many comments on this board is not a very good recruiter.

Also Cllahan is not going to go and chase down one player out of a group of 150 or so. I say the longer Keenan stays away the less likely he will be in a NU uniform. Let him go to Kansas, where everyone will kiss his a$$

  4. Rumor is he isn't all about Callahan and wishes the guy that recruited him Solich was the coach. He wants to transfer to Kansas but doesn't know if he wants to sit out since it's big 12 team.

Fine by me. It just allowes us to free up another scholarship for a Callahan recruit, giving NU a better chance at succeeding quicker.

  5. 1. Oklahoma (Big 12's only shot)

    2. USC (beat their only competition in Cal.)

    3. Auburn (for now anyway, until they get beat-SEC is tough)

    4. Wisconsin (Orton goes down)

    5. Miami (God I hate them)

  6. This is simply amazing but not unexpected. Look at the quality of young men who have committed to NU this year and the ones who are still highly considering and will probably join. I am truly excited for the opportunity these young men have ahead of them at Nebraska. Just fantastic. Thank you John Blake, Bill C. and the entire NU staff! And welcome to Lucky, Smith & Potter along with some other great yet ones to come.

Complain if we must , but we are getting some awfully good talent outside of Nebraska
