  1. Curious to see what the ticket cost of Colorado will be. Paid $330 to watch Sims fumble last year. Have to expect a 1-0 husker team, vs a possibly 1-0 Colorado team (good chance NDSU beats them)

Best guess $400. Doesn't really matter find me there.

  2. Iowa Recap and Season Wrap-Up. I had a good sit back and think moment. I was fully prepared to go 2-10 knowing Rhule and what he does...so maybe 5-7 is not the end of the world. Just the way it happened made it feel worse than it really was....what NEEDs to change? Just being healthy will look like a different team talent wise.

Give me Sims as the starter. I don't think we talk about how inconsistent Casey's arm is. (Yes, he throws a decent deep ball) But sideline and a mid route it is a toss up. Sims gives us a way better look in a Run first offense. RPO is a must and Sims is simply better

Coming back to this-Kindly suck it

I find the addition of Jeff Sims, transfer from GT, very interesting.  In some ways it strikes me as being similar to when Frost went after Adrain as soon as he was hired.  He knew who he wanted

as QB and he went after him.  In this case, it feels that Rhule knows exactly what type of offense he wants to run, and he made that known in the type of QB he recruited.

It gives some hints as to where the offense may be heading under Rhule.  To that end, I think we have 6 QBs under scholarship with the Sims addition.  We also have a diverse group of guys -

Big Arm guys, Pro-style, dual threat.  What does this say about Casey Thompson's status? - Is Sims 'insurance' in case Thompson doesn't respond well to surgery or decides

not to come back to play his remaining year at Nebraska or is Rhule moving away from CT as a manager of his type of offense? The other guys on the depth chart are also sent a message.

While I think Logan stays on to finish his education, I suspect others may enter the portal - esp after the spring game.

  5. Yes, ATH and Skill positions are needed and fantastic. But for the love of god....can we go get some mean farm boys for the line. We consistently fall off in the 4th QTR (Yes, play-calling is a part of why) because our Line gets bullied late in games. We need bigger names in this area to see a difference sooner. If I have to see Bryce Benhart get beat on the inside one more time.....

  6. College Football and it's identity/separation from being a professional sport are literally crumbling in front of us.

Money talks, to hell with the brand.

Atmospheres and gameday experience are keeping this thing together.

  7. Talked to a special teamer I used to coach in HS baseball.

Said the biggest difference is the actual formality of practice. Meaning there is a set ways to do things that is much more beneficial.

I can't wait to see how these guys fit into the schemes.
