How big is Memorial these days?
91 and change I believe
That's a solid number right there. Wife and I haven't been in a couple years when I think it was still high 80s. She laughed at me for being mad it was bigger than Kyle.

Based on....?
-
Kinda hard to recruit when you bring a kid in and he sees 10,000 empty seats in your stadium...
-
We'll see. I'll say this, Bill Snyder does more with less talent than any other coach I know of. Nothing but respect for that man.
-
I also would suggest that OU is vastly overrated. Their ranking is SOLELY the result of beating bama LAST YEAR.
-
Is the debate on who's worse? B1G or Big12?
-
Or....
This was a marquee game for KSU
Extra week to prepare
Night game
etc.
Auburn went on the road against a top 20 and beat them...by what the spread predicted. If they didn't have the dropsies, it would have been worse....in fact, those drops would have more than countered all the missed FGs.

Nothing makes me happier than watching Spurrier and SCAR get their asses kicked.
A&M should only wear those stormtrooper uniforms btw. I've never seen them lose in all white.
We haven't
Bama 2012
OU 2013
Ole Miss 2013
Skaralina 2014

Vandy having trouble with power house Temple
Wait I'm confused didn't espn/sec say when Vandy beat Georgia that both were great teams because there is such great parity and quality there, Now I'm starting to suspect they were both bad and espn/sec might have been telling tall tales to further the marketing of their new network. Say it aint so.
Vandy was 4-4 in the SEC last year.
Temple was 1-7 in the AAC last year.
Vandy lost by 30.
At Home.
New Coach
Recruiting
New Season
Turnover
Etc.
(But I think Vandy is just flat out bad. Mason is nowhere near the coach that Franklin was.

Heck of a game last night, eh gents?

He had a better night than Hoyer, and he would have had 2 more completions if the receivers had been looking for the damn ball!!!

You'll probably see the $5K per year held in trust for each athlete til they leave.
-
Only if we get caught
-
There are plenty of bottom feeders in the Big 5 who are WORSE than FCS schools.
-
EXCELLENT summary of what happened.
-
Just committed to A&M.
-
Or his dad played there and he really wanted to play in the SEC.
-
What? This guy? Yeah, I guess we'll take him.
-
7-5 sounds good. I see that as a realistic schedule. I just don't see Strong as the long term solution there, but we will see.
-
A&M has been on record in the past about "any time anywhere." That being said, most A&M fans have realized that we don't really need to schedule them. We have huge games against teams like LSU, Bama, etc every year. I would be happy to, but that's how it is. This all started because Deloss Dodds wanted to "punish" A&M for leaving for the SEC.

Thoughts on the school? I bet even money it's gotta be bama with Auburn being the "rival"
-
I love this line....
Hey, how'd he get that ride? His uncle bought it. How did his uncle buy it? Paid cash. Paid cash, how'd he do that? sh#t, we don't know, but here's the receipt where he paid cash, and now y'all ain't got sh#t. Go tell the NCAA you think we're cheating because this kid's uncle bought him a used Tahoe in cash, you racist. -
I've never dealt with anything like the hatred of Texas A&M I found on the message boards these past couple of years. It's so unlike the usual suspects {ND, NYY, UM-OSU} that I can't even find an analogy.
Here's a forced one, it would be like taking a vacation in Spain and finding that the locals do nothing but complain about Portugal.
I don't really see it, but I know feelings are still raw after the official jobbing that Nebraska got when they played A&M on our final bout in the Big 12. My impression is that NU seems to hate Texas way more than A&M. Maybe I misread your comment.
I'm pretty sure he's referring to message board hate from Texas to A&M, not Nebraska to you guys.
That would make a lot of sense. I think it's a lot that they really viewed us as the "little brother" and that we couldn't do anything without them. Then we went to the SEC, started winning, started dominating them in recruiting, getting more publicity, etc. Basically, we became their worst nightmare where they are now not the most popular program in the state. THAT is why they hate us.
Who is closer, Nebraska or Miami, to a return to the top of college football?

A lot of that is probably more to do with the fact that y'alls endzone sections are a shallow bowl. Kyle's are steep...and our loudest section are the students....of which we had 39,000 for Rice and Lamar.
