Southern Miss game 2012.
That game almost brought me to my knees. I NEVER leave a game early and I almost did that day.
It was f'ing hot.
Especially after they ran out of water to buy.

I posted this on a status update the other day:
Will the real Leaders Division Champion please stand up?
I like this Idea. Maybe a mention of Ohio State...
"I Thought we were playing Ohio"

I was just getting out of the Army... thanks for makin' me feel old as hell...
I was just getting into the Army. In fact, I have no memory of this season as I was in Basic Training.
-
I say we go grab Iowa State and Pitt.
-
This is being way overblown.
Wish I had that problem...
You and me both!

Thread reported for the circle jerk it is.

If MSU fans can show me something similar to this
Then I will agree there are some teams getting special treatment.
I had never seen this video before. Wow.
Maybe he's just stoked that he nailed that TD signal. I get pumped up when I do well at my job.

Michigan State's program is collectively really dirty and classless on the field - saw so much chippiness and disgraceful behavior. Not a fan.
So kind of like Kansas State or Texass, but with better colors and a more refined logo?
Not even close in any of those three distinctions.
Really? Because I recall a Texass team that had the same player chop block Suh on back to back plays (which in better conferences will get the offender ejected)...
...and I recall a Kansas State team that would routinely eye gouge, go for late hits, and oh, grabbed the face mask of our Heisman QB and tried to yank it off, all while the K-state fans continue to cheer the play to this day on their pregame crowd warm-up.
Don't know if you're part of the Big XII Nostalgia Derp express, but they were vermin on the field for similar reasons I'm thinking MSU is going to be vermin in years to come.
A superiority complex. You have one.

Anyone who believes that the PI call was warranted is crazy.
Looks like the DB is making contact with Kenny's arm under the elbow and attempting to pull it away from the ball to me.
Also for anyone that disagrees with the Adams penalty, Watch what #27 does to Abdulah near the sideline of that play (I believe around the NU 30). If Adams doesn't warrant a personal foul, that sure does.
and there you have it......the pic that settles it.
You're right. It does. The DB is playing the ball. There was incidental contact. No flag should be thrown on this play. If this call was warranted, then so were all the other PI calls against Husker DBs this game. I bet you'd argue the opposite way on those calls though. The call doesn't have to be right to validate our victory is what you don't seem to understand. It happened. The game is over and we won.

The more you watch it the more ridiculous it gets haha
I love Kenny Bells reaction... "really?.. really dude?"
If I remember right I think even the refs were laughing about it.
Woops, I meant to reply to this one. Academy award nomination for MSU's #5.
Nah, that was turrible acting.

Anyone who believes that the PI call was warranted is crazy.
I don't think the 3 PI calls (2 of which, if I recall correctly, directly resulted in a TD) called on us were warranted, but if those 3 are considered PI then the call on Sparty was a good call.
I don't like makeup calls. Sure, there were plenty of BS PI calls. The one at the end of the game was one of them.
-
I'm not your buddy, friend.
Besides, It's not like we would have lost without that call. We would have just have to have gone to overtime to complete our comeback.

As the OP, I'd like to state clearly that this is not an overreaction to a win. It is simply stating the adjusted goal after losing games in our season. No longer are we competing for the MNC. The next-best goal is the Rose bowl. With our fate secure in our own hands, I have no problems stating that I feel the accomplishment of that goal at hand. What this board really does is pretend that their interactions here should be as if they were players speaking to the media.
Well, f#*k that. Saturday's game was a big win and if you can't feel confident in the way the team executed in that game, you're truly jaded.
GO BIG RED!!
-
With Robinson in the game, our front 7 played disciplined, assignment football, bottling up #16 for the most part and not allowing the big play. Great execution on the defensive side of the ball. Congrats to the blackshirts.

Update:
Trevor Siemian & Kain Colter, Northwestern, Oct. 20, 2012 - 16/37 (43.2%) - 121 yards - 2 TD - 0 INT
Denard Robinson & Russell Bellomy, Michigan, Oct. 27, 2012 - 9/27 (33.3%) - 93 yards - 0 TD - 3 INT
any complaints?
My only complaint is that you are still accrediting an INT for ASU's Aplin despite the fact that Fredi Knighten threw the INT in that game.
-
Add Denard. Also, erase the INT accredited to Ryan Aplin for the ISU game. The Punter threw that INT.
-
Wisconsin will be the team that we prove to the world that we are Kings among men! Even if it was tOSU, we'd still be smelling them roses. WE are the best team in the B1G at this moment.

Saw this on /r/CFB this morning.

Anybody against this is scared of the consequences and should stop hiding behind their mother's skirt. College Football is a game. Losses are just as entertaining as wins provided the competition is strong.

I start with Octobeard. If i weren't a Royals beard, it'd just be a playoff beard.

1935 6-2-1 N/A
They didn't start ranking (at least in the info I found) until 1936.
What is Tom Osborne's middle name?
William.
Who threw the first touchdown pass in Nebraska history?
Googled it. Said I was feeling lucky and apparently, the answer is Joe Ganz.

I want to go back to the big 12. I want Missouri to go back too.

How are you feeling
in Husker Football
Posted
I am on fire today! I've barely been able to sit still. I'm pretty sure I could run through a brick wall right now. On top of that, I am terribly confident that the Huskers win this one by double digits. I don't even think its gonna be close.
