Do they have a website that lists what will be showing on each channel for your area?
Prism TV's website doesn't have that. But BTN website had it on Gamefinder.

I think I'm safe guys. I only have 1 BTN channel. (no additional) The channel guide says it should be the Penn State game, but the actual game that is showing is Iowa vs. Mo St. My friend who has Cox says that it's the same channel as the Nebraska game.
Prism TV is a new fiber-optic cable company that's new to Omaha. They might not be fully set up yet with BTN.

Im in Kansas and it's making me watch NW wtf??? I've never even seen a NW shirt here.
EDIT: I found the regional big channel
What provider do you have?
-
I got DirectTV (in DC, though) and got Nebraska at 6:00 on 610-1 (Northwestern on the prime channel)
Is it showing that on your guide?
-
I am a subscriber to Prism TV. On my guide, there's only 1 Big 10 channel and showing just 1 game at 5pm. It's NOT Nebraska.
If I remember correctly, Big 10 network had multiple channels on DirecTV. If a company has 1 Big 10 network channel, they should have them all, right??
I'm getting worried.

Like last week? Where would I find out?

We should have expected this from our young defense. But we should not have expected so many mistakes and once again.....miss tackles from our seniors.

My lawn is full of weeds. All kind of weeds. How do I get rid of them and start growing grass again?

For the past 4 years, he's been playing for a well organized Youth Football league. The league has now changed in to a high school feeder team to the particular high school that he will be attending. Practice started a few weeks ago and he's doing well. He's in 7th grade now and is eligible to play for his school. Practices and games will not conflict but I'm concerned about the physical challenges it will bring. I'm pretty sure that he could handle it. But this does increase injury risks. Or even burnout. I really want to say "NO". But should I really deny him the chance to play in front of his friends at school? Should he be allowed somewhat to make this decision? After a long talk about possible risks perhaps? There are other teammates of his that ARE going to play for the school as well, so it makes it even harder.

Just based on what I saw, Compton picked up their RB when he came out of the back field to drag across the middle. And he just got cooked.</p>UCLA were the first expose everything that was wrong with our defense last year. Our lack of speed at LBs. They were killing us with the short drag route. Compton could not keep up. There's an argument there that UCLA was the better team that night IMO.
I did enjoy myself in Pasadena that day, and in West Hollywood that weekend.
What's crazy is Compton ran a 4.6 40 and still holds the record for fastest 10 yd run EVER at Nebraska.
I think Compton has become everyone's scapegoat for what was wrong with our defense. I think the breakdown actually happened at our defensive end position AND our outside linebackers.

Usually a bad sign when he does.

This was a long time ago but does anyone remember who it was that asked? Was it an AP reporter?

I think this is what I heard. The social aspect. It allows the kid to enjoy playing more and less likely to burnout.I think it depends on how the younger kids are used in the program. When I was in high school (20 years ago, mind you), there were a few freshmen and sophomores that would suit up with the varsity on Friday nights, just in case. These kids would get their reps on the JV team. Of course, these kids were the kids who matured early, and were big and strong enough to handle playing at the JV/Varsity level.
When I was a sophomore, there was a kid who came in as a freshman at nearly 6'5" and 250-275 lbs. He was on the frosh team about 1 or 2 days before he was moved up to JV/Varsity. He went on to start at OT for NU in the late 90s.
I think the argument for letting the kids play "at their level" is to keep with the social aspect of being with kids their own age and being able to play with their friends.

I once heard an argument on why you should just let your freshman play freshman ball, even if he's good enough to play at a higher level. I can't remember where I heard this debate. But the benefits were more than just "playing time". It was more about overall development and enjoyment of the game. Does anyone know of this?

The title of this topic is misleading. I thought "Fargo Fans" were fans of the movie Fargo by the Cohen Brothers.

Didn't Stafford or PJ Smith recently say that playing safety in Bo's system a heavy load mentally?A transition to corner, safety, or nickle is not a very tough process. These kids have played all over the backfield their entire career. They are obviously different things, my post was sarcastic if anything. But Some people just make it seem like its a crazy move.
It's an entirely different set of fundamentals, mentality, responsibilities, etc. You're downplaying it a little bit too much.

We don't need many true cover corners in the Big 10.

I'm talking about the skin proto-type shirt like the one Taylor wears under his jersey with the Nebraska logo on the biceps. I've searched online but I can't fine actual Husker "athletic" gear anywhere.

A kid who wants to schedule an announcement between multiple schools never picks his home school.

I'm calling it. He probably silently committed a while ago. This is STAGED!

I'm pretty sure within the next 2 to 3 generations, there will be a global economic revolution. Hopefully before they stick microchips in our asses.

I used to defend Taylor. But as a 5th year senior, 4 year starter gets no more passes.
