Hey sock. Getting worried. Is the rumor that Tressell doesn't want the job via twitter rumor a red herring? Hearing a lot of buzz around Patterson. I want Tressell and frost. Can you provide any more info ?

I'm no fan of silent Shawn of Lincoln. I do believe there is something to socks source though. Your right. Either Shawn is sticking his head in the sand or he is doing things very close to the vest right now. With vest bein the optional word. I have zero info. No sources just a gut feeling that Tressell is a big enough name who is in need of redemption. If they paired him with Frost the masses who hate Tressell will love frost and the people who don't want frost as a hc due to no experience would have a true hc to teach him. I think it is an off chance but interesting.

I agree Hedley. I don't believe the rumor but it's interesting info if Bo stays. We all know we are mediocre at best right now.

Heard a rumor on another board that Bo stays because coaches deem Nebraska as a bad job to have. That nebraska could get someone but not a splash hire. Would Eichorst make a move just to get new blood? I am not saying I believe this rumor but I did read it. Also heard Tressell as hc with frost as oc/coach in waiting. Plus he would coach games Tressell couldn't. I have to think if they fire Bo that they have to have a coach ready to go. We can't have another Callahan debacle. We need that splash hire.

I would have fired him after tape gate. I like him off the field but he can't seem to relate his defensive knowledge to the player where they can apply it. I hate Nebraska being made fun of or us being labeled as mediocre. I know that is what we have become but Alabama has shown that a splash hire can turn a struggling program around

Hi all Since I live in Alabama I don't get the honor to hear real time the news about Nebraska. Curious if there is any new rumblings about Bo being fired. I was a huge supporter of Bo. I see now that even though he is a defense oriented coach he can't seem to translate that knowledge to the players. I also have a huge problem that he selected a subpar D coordinator and O coordinator. I appreciate this board and if someone wants to pm me info on rumors I would be appreciative. I have a huge fear that silent Shawn will do nothing and the textbook definition of insanity is repeating your current actions and expecting a different result. Thanks Jeff

Hi all. Planning some time off in the gulf shores alabama area during the NU wis game. I will have access to cable and wifi but not my direct tv at home. Does anyone know if the game will be nationally televised at 7. Or if they have two national games and since I'm in sec country I get stuck with it. Would the second national game roll over to espn2? Also if it's btn game of the week. Can I watch it in btn2go? I have app but haven't needed to use it yet Thanks for the help J
