  1. Which special person at ESPN thought it was a good idea to have a full body shot of Erin Andrews wearing tights next to three guys in suits? If I want to see trashy women wearing that crap I can just go to Walmart.

What Walmart do you go to?

  2. It's fine to be critical of his coaching, but that doesn't make Cosgrove a bad person. He could be a great guy for all I know, and I sure don't have any ill will toward him. People that personalize this or don't care need to get a grip (maybe counseling would help). I wish him and his family the best.

My sister developed leukemia (chronic myelogenous) and some new wonder drug put it into remission inside of 6 months. There are lots of different kinds of leukemia and some can be treated effectively. Hopefull this turns out well for them.

  3. Vince you are treading on thin ice here.

I thought I was the only one that felt that way willing to state it.

I have yet to be wrong on our starters over the last 6 years.

I think Zac will get his ducks in line if he heals. My guess is Green will transfer to.

With all of my posts I remove all emotion and just tell it like it is.

I guess "Spock" for member name must have been taken. :snacks:

  4. It's not the commentators job to only ask questions of interest to sports nerds that spend large amounts of their time reading message boards about sports. Suh is a phenom and if he wants to stay in people want to know. The media wants to give him face time because his "brand" sells to a broader audience. Besides, it is common to pull a star player near the end of a game where the outcome is already decided. If they had done that the whole crowd would have been giving him a standing ovation. So, ... why did he stay in. Seems like a legit question.

  5. I think Suh made TX a little hypersensitive to defense. Here are some excerpts from an this morning's Dallas paper. They haven't forgotten MISTER Suh.

The Alabama game film has been the stuff of nightmares, Brown suggested.

Think of a cross between the original Jaws and highlights of Ndamukong Suh in the Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship.

"We're not able to sleep," Brown said. "They've got three Suhs up front. That's the problem. Everywhere you look, they've been knocking people down. We've been afraid to show it to our kids."

OK, Alabama isn't that dominant. If the Crimson Tide had three Suh-level players, Colt McCoy might need Secret Service protection.

The Texas offensive line already has discovered the useful phrase "behind us" to describe the Big 12 title game – and not in reference to Suh's location.

Alabama simply bottles teams up, allowing 241.7 yards and 11 points per game thanks to omnipresent linebacker Rolando McClain. Texas managed 202 yards against Nebraska. Draw your own conclusions.

  6. I like the Tulsa article where the guy mentions that if Texas wins, the Big 12 loses money. But if Nebraska wins, we keep $4.5 million dollars by sending two teams to BCS games.

I mean if the referees are going to be paid off in this game, its probably going to be in our favor, because they want more money.

Here what can be done. get rid of CONF football offical"s and do like NCAA bball. I don't even like to hear before a game of 2 team from diff CONF about what CONF the offical come from. I think what the hell can that mean ? Just have NCAA football offical and send around to game just like bball. The rule"s are to be same no care what team or CONF and it might be better to have no offical even know much about this or that player or coach. There i fix that.

    Well put!!

    What did you say?

  7. What kills me is the number of OU fans calling for Stoop's job. WTF? Most of the papers aren't giving Nebraska's defense any credit. It's all the qb's fault and bob's fault and well....looks like one of our meltdowns. :)

Oh and by the way....How quickly people on here are to attack one another.

I recall fans wanting to fire TO because he couldn't win the big ones.

Also, based on what I see on this board, you'd think we'd never lost a game because the other side was good. It's generally because so-and-so sucks; e.g., Watson, Lee, etc. One can't expect any different from Sooner fans. "Fan" must be derived from fanatical not reasonable.
