If Callahan fires Coz, Elmo, and possibly Wags at the end of the season, would you be willing to give him more time.

 

Everyone agrees that the defense has not been very good since the current staff has been here, and is the majority of the problems with this team. Also the O-Line hasnt really been that great either.

 

I personally feel that if he were to make some changes, I would give him some more time.

 

However if he refuses to get rid of Coz then he would have to go, because he is the HC and is responsible for the success or failures of the team. and if he cannot see that Coz is the problem then he needs to go

I love how people preach patience with Callahan, but yet they are OK with Pedey having none with Solich's rebuilt staff. I also love how people act like some fans' expectations are too high, but they are OK with Solich getting fired for not equating Osborne's success. Hypocrisy at its finest.

 

You feel Solich was unfairly treated, yet pile the criticism on BC for not being this way. Isn't that hypocrisy as well?

Not sure where you are going with that, but if you mean me criticizing BC for not equating Osborne's success, that couldn't be further from the truth. I'm criticizing BC because he has not even equated Solich's success. Hypocrisy? Perhaps, but in my mind I was promised something better when Solich was fired, therefore the expectations should've been raised.

I just find Bugeater's overwhelming since of negativity to be..well...a bit frustrating. If we would've beaten USC, would he really be making all these comments? Would he buy the Ball State game? It's just 1 game and people go into panic mode. I just find it a bit lame when people refuse to see ANY positives just because they don't like the staff.

I've been in panic mode since the end of last season. If there's a positive somewhere, I'd like you to point it out to me. And no, "at least we're not Michigan or Notre Dame" isn't going to work.

Come on be honest if Keller by some miracle hung touchdown for touchdown and we squeaked with a win........nobody would be saying squat about the defense..............firing coaches after one game is program suicide..........

I think giving up 8.2 yd/carry and watching the fans leave by the thousands at the end of the 3rd on National TV is enough to get Stevie P's ire up.

Again look at the line play.........our d -line was dominated straight out Sarkisian saw this and exploited it to the fullest.......put eight in the box fine........that worked great against the NU teams in the 90'S. Carroll, Sarkisian know how potent the rushing attack is it would not have made a difference, did Cosgrove call a Stellar game probably not.........is he gonna get fired for it.....HELL NO!!!! This is just stupid........look at some other programs.... struggling...Michigan, Neuter Lame, Iowa State, Iowa........just to name a few........and all this crap about packages and players out of position.....the talent disparity was glaringly obvious in this game......USC has a defense that could give some NFL teams fits.....Nebraska had that at one time.....and when you have that you can put teams in tough third and long downs and wait for the big turnovers to happen........it has nothing to do with the coach, also in regards to " lets fire Cosgrove" it is just silly.........at this point with recruiting, early season and going up against one the best programs in CFB this decade>>.........come on people wake up........this is not Kool-Aid talking it is rational thinking....lets wait and see if Ball st. hangs 300 yds rushing on us then lets panic.

It is true that alot of team would have lost, even at home. But to have your defense look like a bunch of highshool kids that had no idea what to do or even have the fundamentals of playing football? That was just dam embarrasing. A lot of teams would have lost but NONE have given up 8.2 yrds a carry. And USC had almost 100 yrds on the first two carries! EMBARASSING! WOW if that isn't enough to get you to think WTH then nothing will.

Unfortunately USC offense makes alot of teams defenses look like highschool defenses...just ask Arkansas.

It is not a surprise that our defense is the weak link...that was known preseason, Cosgrove is not going anywhere.....PERIOD. Him and Cally go way back and Cally just got his extension....there is no pressure on him to let Cosgrove go........
