  1. Looking for two tickets to the Washington game. I live in the Seattle area and hoping to find someone willing to meet if necessary.

I got mine from StubHub... lower sideline

Have you tried FanSnap? There seems to be some good deals on the Husker Sideline still...

I'm going to be driving up for the game, and staying in the U-District. Know of any events in or around the campus?

  2. I sat in my car after work for 20 min after work (I have Sirius) to wait for the Big 12 North update... turns out it was just more about how :sarcasm great Oklahoma is... that and how no one else in the Big 12 compares to them.

  3. Sorry it took me so long to post this, but I haven't had a chance to be on here since getting back from Lincoln, too much school work, as well as work-work.

But I just wanted to say thanks to all those involved with the tailgate party at the USC game, I had a great time, and it was nice meeting some of ya face-to-face. Also, glad to say I wore my Big Red Code tshirt through a mass of burnt orange in Dallas on my return flight back.

  4. Winning ebay buyer backed out after auction close.

Still available, and I'm considering reasonable offers.... PM Me.

I'm heading to the airport right away, but I'll try to check my messages before I leave, and when I have a stopover in Dallas.

  5. I'm going to the USC game by myself (shameless plug: other ticket for friend that couldn't make it for sale in the classifieds).

But this summer I worked for 2 months in a strange town by myself, and although I was socialable at work and such, after work I'd go out and I met some new people... so it shouldn't be too bad.

Abd since we all have the same passion for the game and the 'Skers, you'll hardly notice that you're by yourself-- quite the opposite you'll be surounded by 85,000 other fans too.

  6. I've been reading articles and messages from AZ, CA, Minnesota and even from the state of Maine that they are Husker Fans. Even Colorado has it's fair share of Huskers Fans. I know there are Georgians for Nebraska.

I guess what I'm asking from you fans, that live outside of Nebraska, who do you believe is the biggest fan base of Husker football? With Nevada coming to Lincoln, and since that this week is sincerely going slowering than usual, I think it's a good way to past time.

Just Say where you are from and when you first became a husker fan......

Living in Canada for the last 6 years (has it been that long already?), I'm one of a rare breed. Being the huge Husker fan I am, gained me the nickname 'Nebraska' at my college due to the fact that I'm always wearing red or something Huskers... then they see my house!

I've been a Husker fan for as long as I can remember (thanks mom and dad :thumbs ) I think before I could walk. Last time I was at home game I must have been about 5 or 6, but I can't wait to make the pilgrimage back to Lincoln for the 15th.

  7. I've got one extra ticket for the big game on the 15th. I was supposed to go with a friend, but they cancelled.

Section 3, Row 2 this is on the East side about the 20 yard line. I have the ticket in hand (In Calgary, AB right now, but I'll be in Lincoln the Friday before the game [14th]).

For those of you looking you know how hard it is to find a ticket this good, and I've seen tickets that are further out selling for much more.

I'd like to sell it for about what I paid for it ($375), but I'll consider reasonable offers. If you want I can ship out to you, or deliver it in person the day before the game.

I don't want to haggle or wheel and deal out in the open, that's what PMs and email are for.

As for payment, I do have PayPal, but a Cashier's Check/Money Order is preferred (I might accept cash in person).

    GO BIG RED! :restore:bonez

  8. you guys are right, I am back after a quick break that was stupid of me to do

That's pretty much the reaction of someone after they turn 21. "I'm never drinking again". Then they are at the bar the next night. :wasted

21? My sister who's in middle school was telling me about how kids she goes to school with brag about how they get wasted on the weekend. (Not her though, she thinks she's above drinking... not me though! :woo:wasted ) But then again the legal age here to drink is only 18

  9. The more they get it publicly out there for a "red out" the more "average fan" is to remember to wear red. I cant tell you how many people wear white, gray, black...just because it says Huskers or whatever. I will never, for the life of me, understand why you come to a game and DONT WEAR RED!!!

It's funny, cause reading that made me think about one day when I wore a gray Huskers shirt (not to a game though) and everyboday was like :wtf no red? To me.

For the game I will be in my reds.

  10. Unless they lowered the drinking age from 21 to 20 in Missoura, I'll have to do all my drinking here before I get on the plane (where the drinking age is only 18). I know you can't have liquids on your carry-ons, but what about a bottle in your checked luggage? :cheers

  11. Well since I'm going to be flying to Lincoln (Omaha actually) for the USC game this September on frequent flier miles, I've got a 10 hour layover in St. Louis. I'm contemplating staying at hotel (but when you're paying close to $25 is just taxes and fees-- that cheap basic room looks less appealing, epically as a poor college student). Another option is staying at the airport, but I was wondering what if any facilities are available to pass those 10 hours. All I could find on their website was that they have a chapel, that and they don't rent lockers, so I'll have to lug all my luggage around. This is the same airport that Steve Martin snaps at the rental car lady in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.
