  1. I wanna make it out to Lincoln next year, but no one wants to go with me.

I made plans to with a friend to go to the KU game last year, but the (now former) friend I wanted made plans with changed his mind in the summer. :asshat

Hell if I knew you I would go. That is why I want to go to college down there, to watch Husker football. That is if I have any money....

Well I've made new friends and am looking at Greyhound schedules. He loves America and hates the Sooners as much as the next red-blooded American.

However I've been in contact with someone at UNL and my college credits here might transfer over to Nebraska! :corndance:corndance:woo:woo

    So let's wait and see...

But the idea of us making it out to Boulder mentioned above sounds like too much fun (and I've almost got a free Alaska Airlines flight, and my miles won't fly me to Lincoln  But they'll get me to Denver).

  2. I'm trouble.

i want to go to a game at CU.

Yeah, I want to attend an away Colorado game as well. I'm just asking for trouble <_<

Come on up. I say we get a big red limo w/ as members as we can get from the board. We can all gather at my place and make the 30 minute drive to Boulder and raise hell. At least if were in a big group we have a fighting chance. :thumbs

Froniter is always having seat sales to Denver... Hell that sounds like fun and I might be iN

  3. Wow that makes the weather we've had here for the last week a little more bearable!

As of this posting, it's 3° outside and that's what we've been putting up with for a while now.

Here's a few pics I snapped the other day while playing with my new camera phone (add at least another foot and a 1/2 now):

(Very hard to see but there was ice haning from my car)

And for tonight/tomorrow a winter strom advisory for the area.

  4. Congrats Nicole!

I had my eye on only one school when I was finished high school (can you guess what it is?)

Since I had my last year of high school in Canada, all the students and guidance councilor had me convinced that school in Canada is cheaper for basically the same education (which my parents really liked, and wanted me close to home <_< ), but there was only and still is only 1 school that I’d rather attend.

There is only 1 upside to getting your PSI in Canada: no SATs! :)

  5. When I was watching Early Today at 5 am, they mentioned her. But they were talking about her having to give a paternity test.

With the suspicious death of her son, and all this controversy surrounding her lately lead me to believe she committed suicide (overdose?).

And remember her in better times.

  6. I don't wanna start a fight, I'll save that for the woodshed, but we've always owned Fords with no problems. Then we bought a Suburban 6 years ago, and since day one it's been into the shop more times in 6 years than the Aerostar we had before that for 7 years.

My daily driver is a Crown Victoria which is almost as old as I am and knock on wood, no major problems.

I'll always be a Ford man.

  7. Sorry I don't have a photo of this hitch, but the hitch I think that is cool as hell is the one that say's something like Nebraska Huskers Tailgater and actually has a bottle opener on it!!! I've seen those everywhere I just can't find one that will fit my explorer. <_<

I was thinking that one when I opened this thread. :cheers

  8. <_< You know that doesn't help my OCD.

Which is why I have this:

    on my desk.

And carry a small bottle of Purell with me whenever I ride the commuter train.

At work there are quite a few people that work there that originate from the other side of the world (with different cultures) and I've seen and heard of employees (both male and female) return to work without washing their hands after going to the bathroom (1 & 2). Which makes me glad we're not a restaurant.

I got several complaints yesterday about a cashier that was sick. She'd be coughing into her hands and blowing her nose while ringing in customer's orders, she said she was going to the pharmacy to buy stuff on her break and I told her to pickup hand sanitizer when she was there.

  9. You want to see bad drivers? Check out Calgary...

People are worried that they'll burn out their turn signal light if they use it

Speed Limit signs are for decoration (a section of freeway that I drive everyday (McLeod Trail) the speed limit is 80 km/h (50~55 MPH), and there are always cops there and speed traps set up, but people think this is the Daytona 500 and drive about 70 MPH. And don't get me started on Deerfoot Trail aka Thunderfoot 500 [the city's north-south expressway] where the speed limit is 100 km/h (60~65 MPH) and people drive like it's the Autobahn). I don't drive Deerfoot because everyday you hear about the latest fatality.)

Parking lots here need stop signs and speed limit signs because nothing's posted p eople think they can drive like maniacs!
