Is 4' 11" tall for an 8 year old boy? I have girls and both were over 5' by age 8. Age 6 they were both 4' 11" (marked on the wall in garage )

NU actually slips a spot to number 8 in the BCS! I agree with it.

The picture of the young girls needs to be freaking removed ASAP, that is NOT even funny! The pic with the dead body above should be removed as well. SICK

After reading the Shatle article it really makes you wonder if the Big 12 really knows what to do after suspending Martin.
They really have no choice but to start suspending players or risk being viewed as targeting a team leaving the conference.

I just realized this as I was talking to my brother in law about the play.
They went to media time out after the sack. Which gave Gabbert time to collect himself, but there was NO REASON for ABC to take a timeout and stop the game. To my recollection the only reason they are allowed to go to media time out is during a long player injury, change of possession or score. None of these happened, and they didn't review the call on the field.
Somebody explain this to me, this game was handled so poorly, this crew should be fired.
Is it possible they thought Gabbert might stay down, so they cut to commercial so that Cunningham couldn't drone on and on about the hit like last week? Again, something tells me that ABC/ESPN isn't pleased with Cunninghman.
I kinda wondered that myself. If I remember correctly, when they came back from the commercial, the hit was not mentioned again.

You are correct, guess I should read before posting.. DUH!

I'm giving TigerNuts the benefit of doubt here. He/She is a good poster on the board and deserves a right to their opinion and considering the outcome is being very good about it. Keep it civil or even a husker fan can be banned by not observing the RULZ.
GBR
the thread may also go away without difficulty.
Can I ask how a husker fan could be banned in this situation? I have yet to see anything even close to over the line by husker fans but yet an MU fan clearly trolling is ok? I don't care how long he/she has been here.

Typical sour grapes from fans the complain about our fans.
Come on, man, we got our ass kicked. This is the worst you'll hear from me.
Ok, still sour grapes. You had to come up with something, instead of just saying good job... you had to bitch.
How about the bitching about respect earlier this week? I guess respect is only giving to MU?

I'm sorry, but those of you saying different angles make it look like he is leading with his helmet, are really kind of naive on tackling.
Ever tried tackling with your shoulder with your head up? You would break your freaking neck.
Your head has to be down and yes different angles will LOOK like he is leading with his helmet. When in reality he is tackling with his shoulde
Fundamental tackling!

Bo, if you are reading this, this should be your theme for every home game!

Disrespect? By Vegas betting lines?
It is all about money, and not which team they really think will win.
I would hope MU fans understand that!
Absolutely teams feel disrespected by Vegas betting lines, and play with a chip on their shoulder because of them. That's not unusual at all.
Ok, good point!

So much talent, so many mental issues (in regards to the game).

OU, for sure.

Crap happens.
We have bad games. TO had bad games.
Anyone remember Daunte Culpepper and the numbers he put up on NU's D? 318 passing yards and 24 points.
Then we had Wyoming in 1994, threw for 344 yards and 32 points.

I wish I knew why, but look back over the last 2 years, we flat out suck at home. Our teams never show up to play. I know everyone will disagree on here, but for some reason rd games are catalysts that make the team come together, home games for some reason make the players limp noodles. It's like they try to downplay the hype until they can't play.
I've been a regular reader on this board for a couple of years now. One thing I've noticed is that Nebraska fans are as tough a critic as any I know. Could it be your team fears the home crowd judgement more than they do opposing crowds?
it was said, that Niles said, his problem during the UT game was girl trouble. Not sure how accurate that is but that is what I heard.
-
This team seems to play better as an underdog. Not sure why, but that is what I see.
Excellent! Because Nebraska is an early 7.5 point favorite.
doh
I think this could add to MU. Nothing like a fire up, confident team that already has every reason to be up for a game that now feels disrepected.
