Does anyone know where to watch the Troy game in Phoenix. My brother lives there, and he seems to think that The Arena will have it. Not sure

I thought that Lance plyed well in his start in the Alamo Bowl. I find it strange that there is no mention of Corey's 10 tackles.

That is definitely better than I thought it would be. However, go back and take off 1993-1997. Over the 5 year span, we had the best record of any team ever. Just use the first 20 years of his career. I think the average will dip below 50 percent pretty fast.

 

His bowl record prior to 1993 was 8-12 in that time frame. Even over his entire career, he had a losing record in bowl games. I'm assuming most if not all of these opponents were ranked.

 

I'm not saying T.O. was a bad coach. I'm just saying he got outcoached in big games, noteably bowl games which are usually the biggest games of the year. T.O. finally figured it out after several years of losing to quality opponents what he needed. He needed a lot of speed on defense, and he needed a big strong running QB that could pass at least good enough to keep defenses honest. Anyone remember the days of Mickey Joseph, Mike Grant, etc.

Seems to me that Lucky was hesitant at times. Kenny seems to be better at running through those "smaller holes", but you have to wonder? The trojan's linebackers where so quick east and West why not run ol' Cody Glenn between the tackles. I NOW we would have seen him carrying flocks of SC defenders all over the place

Troy will be pounded down by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Our offense will feel they have something to prove and our defense will be pissed we didn't win last week after holding USC to only 28 points. Troy returns only 3 starters on defense. Troy is 0 - 3 against Nebraska and they have been out scored 103 - 30 in those three games.

 

Ganz will be in by the late third quarter and the trojans will be done long before that.

It will be very crowded though. A place a little more relaxing would be The chicken Coop it is near main street located near "all the other bars." On the bricks in Kearney Nebraska!
