I just don't see how anyone could pick UCLA over Nebraska this weekend. UCLA's 3 turnovers, 8 penalties for loss, and 2 for 11on third down are the biggest things that standout to me. Not to mention that Rice is a horrible team. Your thoughts?

  2. there are so many new players this year, but the ones that do return are studs. pitching and infield are my biggest concerns but coach anderson is the man.

Our defense will be fine. The problem is pitching. flat out.

yeah, i was under the impression that jake mort wasn't playing this year. now i know.

  3. Callahan made this offense. And he's a beast at recruiting. This is by no means a bad hire - if chemistry and things like that pan out, which is something nobody can predict.

Callahan is an O.C. i think he needs to make his offense not so damn complicated.

  4. Eh, preseason polls mean absolutely jack in the end.

    What do you mean???

    Preseason AP

    1. Georgia - 2 losses

    2. Ohio St. - 2 losses

    3. USC - OK, possible Nat Champ contender

    4. Oklahoma - OK, possible Nat Champ contender

    5. Florida - OK, possible Nat Champ contender

    6. Missouri - Kinda OK

    7. LSU - 7-3, 3-3 in SEC...not sure how still ranked

    8. West Virginia - 6-3, unranked

    9. Clemson - 5-4, 3-4 in ACC, unranked

    10. Auburn - 5-6, 2-5 in SEC, unranked

    11. Texas - Nat. Champ contender

    12. Texas Tech - Nat Champ contender

    13. Wisconsin - 6-5, 3-5 in Big 10, unranked

    14. Kansas - 6-5, 3-4 Big 12, unranked

    15. Arizona St. - 4-6, 3-4 Pac 10, way unranked

    16. BYU - HOLY CRAP GOT THIS RIGHT, THEY ARE #16 AS OF TODAY!!!

    17. Virginia Tech - 6-4, 3-3 in ACC, unranked

    18. Tennessee - 3-7, 1-5 in SEC, YIKES

    19. South Florida - 6-4, 1-4 Big East, way unranked

    24. Alabama - Theirs to lose the National Championship...which they will to Florida.

    25. Pittsburgh - Somehow managed a 7-2 record and 3-1 in Big East and are holding in top 25.

Unranked at beginning of season and AP ranking as of today:

#7 Utah - 53 preseason votes (compared to 1528 preseason of Georgia)

    #9 Boise St - 17 preseason votes

Excellent proof on why pre season rankings should not exist.

  5. Wow, this season went fast and I hate the fact that it's almost over, especially since we are showing improvement.

I wish we had about three more games before the bowl. I just don't want it to end.

I know! I wish that Joey Ganz could have another year in the system, he would be a heisman contender.

Put the Kool-aid down, put your hands in the air and back away slowly.

    :yeah:blink: not quite

Are you kidding? He has put up some damn good numbers in such a short time as a starter. Look a Chase Daniels, his first two years were ok, Ganz has one year in the system and just blew Taylors single season passing record. He would be a Heisman contender.

You can see the members of the band in between the helmets of Freeman and Potter. Horrible call that could of cost us right before the half.

That photo is AFTER contact was made and Freeman's head is lashing back, creating the space. Just look at the film. Was definitely helmet to helmet.

great photo by the way, took it at the right time.

  8. how about did anybody see the hit the Kanas Running back layed on a Texas safety? that was one of the most ferocious hits I have seen in a while. Kid was knocked out before he hit the ground.

his helmet got under his chin and smacked him a good one. That had to hurt.
