I love that I work in Ames daily and get all of the updates. I still try and wear a Nebraska polo to work at least once a week. I have a couple of patients that try and get back at me by wearing some funny shirts! The first one is "There must be a God" and then has the 1992 Nebraska vs ISU score when they beat us. The other one is the "Golden Rule" shirt of Beat Nebraska. I guess I get what I ask for!

I am still going to open that can of worms of "Why wasn't Tommie Frazier on the list of the 25 greatest players when he was voted as the best college football QB by ESPN?" I guess I would be more solid on my decision of Crouch or Rodgers if I could have watched Rodgers play his whole career like I did Crouch. I can't really make a decision.

I hear ya AF, I live in Johnston, but work in Ames. Fortunately I work with one husker, one jayhawk, a hawkeye and only one cyclown. There are a few husker bars here in DSM. Most of them are a good time.

I think if Ganz is able to use his mobility as another weapon, I think it is in favor of us. KU's defense is one of the fastest in the Big 12. Hopefully he can make GOOD decisions when on the move.

Anyone who dogs the team for this game is a f'ing jackass. They were not expected to even play with texas and they played a hell of a game. Yeah, they have lost four in a row. Yeah, maybe callahan should go. But they played probably up to their potential this game. Why shoot down positives when there are few and far between!

I will not be suprised at all if there is no "house cleaning" at the end of the season. Then again, if expectations are not met (which he basically made sure to say that people will know what his expectations are right away and how they are doing all along the way), there definitely could be.

I can never and will never understand why some people think former players will automatically be OMG TEH BEST COACH EVER1!! That idea by itself is just plain dumb IMO.

In a sense I can agree. I think that past and recent players can be good position coaches. I wouldn't push for whole DC thing though.

If we go to more of a running offense with some west coast/modern passing, why wouldn't Gabbert want to come here. He doesn't have Vince Young wheels probably, but the new NFL QB proteige is a guy who can pass and run. I think he will stay no matter what. Callahan may have been hand feeding him but probably not nipple feeding.

I think I am going to end up in the student section thanks to my lil bro giving me two tickets. I think we will wear BLACK!! I see nothing wrong with it. What is the big damn deal. Iowa has gold outs and black outs and gets the majority of the crowd to wear those colors!

We have a bar here in Des MOines called the Hessen Haus. It is a German bar, for those of you who didn't gather that. THey have a sh#t load of every german beer you could think of. You can fill a boot with your favorite and pass it around. Hell of a headache though!
