My friends and I will be traveling to Lincoln for the game on Saturday, arriving in Lincoln on Friday afternoon from LA. What are the things that we MUST do on Friday afternoon/night and before the game on Saturday (Restaurants, Bars, Tailgates, How Early will people start tailgating for an 11am game, etc).

 

Last year's game was a awesome (for UCLA fans), here is to hoping this year's game is just as competitive.

Take seats away!? I wish they would "entice"a section of season ticket holders to move to the new seats and we let another 1000 students get in the game.

 

Especially if the University gets anywhere near their enrollment goals the student ticket allotments will be way too low.

We already have too many students for the current allotment. Most freshman have to buy tickets secondhand.

How did that interview with the President of Northwestern happen?

Woah woah, not everyone is oblivious to what goes on in Africa. Also AFRICOM stated quite a while ago that Kony had left Uganda. So a couple hundred soldiers training Uganda's lackluster (and quite corrupt) Army isn't going to do a whole hell of a lot now.

Just a side note: Most of the better Ugandan soldiers have been working for American contractors in Iraq (I can't say enough good things about the guys I met). Not sure where they are after the withdrawal.

The people in my friends list who give up facebook for Lent aren't annoying because of their religion - they're just annoying people in general. They're the people who post song lyrics, vague statuses crying for comments, etc. I don't know if there's a correlation between religion and facebook statuses, but I think there is in my news feed.

 

That's why I love Lent.

Not in the typical age range for someone wondering between Avery and Old Father without a bag of some sort.

As a matter of fact, I do have some. From maybe ten days ago? Not quite sure on the date. They've probably made a week's progress since then.

Was this by chance a Tues or Thurs between 11 and 1215? I witnessed an older gentleman taking quite a few pictures of the construction while not paying attention in class. I was wondering if the pictures would surface here.
