The play at 3:24 is just glorious. Both tackles and the center on their backs at almost the exact same time.

Carl nicks, we could really use a good oline this year
-
Looks awesome! My only gripe is that the upper deck looks really out of place compared to the west side

The Berringer tribute really puts that tattoo in its own category of awesomeness. Well done dude!

This kid is very well spoken and his mannerism's sure remind of another great DT that played here at Nebraska. Not to mention he has a killer 3 technique!
I started listening his commitment video with the video minimized and I swear I thought it was Suh at first. Their voices are eerily similar
-
Some others for comparison:
Haloti Ngata DT 77.52
Demeco Ryans OLB 72.09
Luis Castillo DT 77
Shawne Merriman DE/LB 75
Demarcus Ware DE/LB 75
Fabian Washington CB 70
Man this makes the Suh vs McCoy debate even more comical

Updated on Kortland Webb:
Kortland just received an invitation to attend the Nebraska QB camp. He and our family is pretty excited!
I think this board is so cool because of things like this. Bobby Swigert's uncle (right?) was here for the 2010 recruiting process, and now we have the brother of Kortland Webb for 2011? Awesome!

Wow, that video was really impressive. Considering all the negativity around his commitment, he will have a huge chip on his shoulder and hopefully he can harness that into some solid play.
I'm gonna get laughed at for this, but I really thought some of his highlights looked like Suh highlights...running down the QB halfway across the field, bulling through the o-line

Imagine how Bo would feel about an OSU match-up! That would be awesome

I posted the link in my original post. I found it on this website: http://www.soonersports.com/sports/m-footbl/archive/102708aaa.html
Those OU fans are good for something apparently

Can he still take a redshirt year?
If so, it would be great to let him develop this season, in whatever position is the best at, and so he has a legit shot at playing in 2011. It would be great it he stayed at QB, because then once Zac graduates we would have someone who can push Cody Green (I don't think Carnes would be ready by then).

I remember seeing a link to the full game video, but now I can't find it. Does anyone happen to have the link handy?
I need something to watch now that recruiting season is over
Thanks!
edit: found it!

1. A&M - scary offense with improved defense could be trouble
2. Washington - Last couple years we have struggled early in the season, and washington is going to be better this year
3. Missouri - revenge match they will be ready for
4. Texas - revenge match we will be ready for
5. K St - synder will continue to amaze
6. OK St
7. Kansas
8. Idaho
9. Colorado
10. ISU
11. South Dakota St
12. WKU
6-12 should all be fairly easy

On every thread for the last couple weeks I have basically been scrolling until I found a comment from EZ-E. Thanks for all your hard work buddy, and look forward to more from you!

Plus, 66% of our heisman winners are from nebraska, so it never hurts to get another nebraska kid in

Sorry to interrupt the talk about the hotties, and I know its been said before, but I just watched an interview with Owa, and he is so humble, its pretty amazing. If we do end up getting him, I think this will have been one of the most fun endings to a recruiting class that I've seen.
-
If crick has the kind of season we are all expecting him to have, I don't think he will be here for 2011.
Especially if Suh does well as a rookie, people will be even more interested in Crick.

I am not looking forward to having to watch a game on that ugly smurf turf
I don't have a problem paying them $1.5 million to play, because they are risking their rankings just as we are, and for them to come into Lincoln, it won't be a good day for them, I am sure.
They should have to pay us more just to step foot on that damn smurf turf, the NCAA needs to put some standards up for turfs, grass is green, that is just the way it ought to be. Talk about a major distraction...I think I will have to puke by halftime, and replace the beer goggles with really dark sunglasses, turn off the television, and just listen to the rest of the game on the radio. That is one place they don't have to worry about me showing up at.
I would be excited about playing on the smurf turf for one reason: To end that silly home winning streak of theirs. Oh, and I would love to see their stadium experience the sea of red. Maybe that would offset some of the ugliness of that stupid turf.

How does a pass rush work with 5 down lineman? It seems to me that you would always have the dline running into each other when they try and get through the gaps.
fyi: never played football so I have no idea about this

Associated Press - January 11, 2010 5:15 PM ET
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska defensive coordinator Carl Pelini says All-Big 12 cornerback Prince Amukamara (ah-MOO-kuh-mare-uh) will remain with the Cornhuskers another year.
Amukamara has been listed in some NFL draft projections after making 54 tackles and intercepting five passes in his first season as a starter.
Pelini said Monday that Amukamara would be back for his senior season. Amukamara did not ask for a draft evaluation from the NFL Advisory Committee.
Underclassmen have until Friday to declare for the draft.

So lets see:
Texas - loses its winningest qb since ever, and his roommate wr
OU - loses its heisman winning qb, stud dt, coming off bad season
USC - loses its head coach, star RB
Florida - loses its head coach?, gods gift (tebow) and a lot of other good players
ND - new head coach, loses its star QB
Seems like this could definitely be an interesting year

I also thought it was a class move for Stoops to go for it at the end instead of kicking the fieldgoal. I know that a lot of coaches would have done that, but I'm pretty sure if this had been a game involving SEC teams that the losing coach would have taken away the shutout. Not that I would have complained had he kicked it, we didn't keep them from driving the field. I was just glad to see our defense get the goose egg.
Hell in 04 Callahan himself did it.
Reason number 132 why callahan wasn't the right choice for us
