Pitch the ball to the halfback, who will quick kick it to the coffin corner.
Worked against the longhorns

Rex Burkhead actually won the Heisman on mine, beat out Matt Barkley by 19 points.
After losing to Ohio St. (not as bad as you might think). They beat me by one point after they scored a late TD with under 1 min left, and got the onside kick afterwards. I went on to reface Wisconsin in the BIG Ten Champ game won 20 - 27. then the Rose Bowl against Texas and beat them 35 - 14. USC played Kansas St. for the National Championship. USC won. Burkhead also won the Doak Walker and Maxwell. Kenny Bell broke the Receiving yards and receiving TD records for Nebraska. Eric Martin won the Bronko award and broke the record for most sacks in a season for Nebraska. Compton won the Linebacker of the Year award.
Convinced Qvale to stay one more year, let Rodriguez go into the draft early, that way i won't have to split time between him and Sirles. Out of 19 players leaving after the 2012 season. 13 players got drafted. Martinez (3rd), Burkhead (1st), Cotton (2nd), Reed (2nd), Choi (3rd), Rodriguez (5th), Martin (2nd), Meredith (5th), Steinkuhler (3rd), Whaley (6th), Compton (1st), Smith (4th), and Stafford (3rd).
That looks like an Alabama draft class!

I have played about 6 different dynasties with different teams. In half of them Taylor Martinez won the Heisman in 2012 and the other half he won 1 in 2013 and was a finalist in every year.
And when I wasn't the Huskers, the Huskers would always dominate. Lets hope this means good things to come!

What are the good bars/restaurants to go to after the game?

Burkhead is too slow.
He is white, so yeah.
Taylor's white...don't let the last name fool you

The winner of this poll gets the sole possession of the 1997 national championship

Husker07,
Have you taken Accounting 202? I'm taking accounting 201 this semester with Quitmeyer and it's horrible. Any suggestions for 202?
Not directed towards me but aimdilokwong if she still teaches it (took it last year)
201 sucks but 202 was a lot better

The best part about this is OU can't make the same (recent) joke back. "What time is it in Nebraska, 64 to 28" just doesn't work.
HA, so true
Come to think of it...it's not exactly a good thing.
Oh well...GBR

A&M fans were very nice to us huskers coming down to the game. It wasn't their fault the refs botched the game. I hope they continue to win and send Texas to a long xmas break

I love USC. Those guys are great. I just wish I'd get one of my posts on the message board posting of the day but it seems they don't do huskerboard too often. We've got to be one of the more active husker boards though

Just out of curiosity, for those of who you watched the game, do you remember a play in which the Kansas quarterback was about to be sacked, but instead of taking the sack he just threw the ball to the turf inside the tackle box? The play looked like it was being set up for a screen, but I don't remember him throwing it anywhere near an eligible receiver. In fact, I remember the offensive linemen being rather far down field when he made the throw.
There was no flag called, but instead we got a defensive holding call and the Kansas' drive continued. This raises two questions. Does anybody remember this play and can they more accurately describe it, or should there have been an intentional grounding/ineligible receiver down field penalty called?
Honestly I didnt really buy into this whole conspiracy theory until this call. It was the easiest call one could make for intentional grounding. I don't mind that they called defensive holding, but at the very least they should have offset.

conan is a 5
but that Marcus Dupree story is too. Glad he didnt come play for us!

As a cowboys and huskers fan I obviously want a good coach for both of my teams. Bo hopefully won't be in the running. John Gruden or Bill Cowher would be nice though

It's a stupid chant. If they are overrated, it makes the win less awesome.
I say they were who we thought they were!
