  1. Williams will be needed against Colorado. As many times as they are going to drop back and pass having him off the edge will be big. Against the run heavy teams he will be a situational pass rusher for the most part.

I heard he is just as good as his brother but maybe it's the height the recruiting services are judging him by.  Just thought he would be ranked as a 4 star qb bc of all the hype surrounding him.

You can tell in the pic Mav just posted he has grown some. I'm sure he will be as tall as Dylan soon. He can spin it for sure.

The presser just ended and there's a lot of good info that came from it. However according to Rhule, Micah Mazzccua isn't living up to the day to day expectations... Hopefully that turns around quickly now that it's out there.

Hopefully his brother being here will help steer him in the right direction.

My thought with that was that we lost Henrich and Reimer we probably need to keep butler or borders at LB, Jack is such a loosely defined position in my mind, think lots of guys both on the DL and LB room could contribute there.

It might be tough for the staff to keep PWill off the field. So a two man rotation at Jack could be in order with Sherman. Borders at LB might work against run heavy teams. He really struggled last year in space. Looking forward to seeing Rogers in the spring game. Hoping he has a role next year.

What do we think of this *Potential* Two-Deep?

    QB - Railoa, Haarberg

RB- Dowdell or Ervin, E. Johnson or R. Johnson

    FB- Bonner, Liebentritt

    WR- Neyor, Garcia-Castaneda or Bullock

    WR- Banks, Coleman

    WR- Lloyd, Doss

    TE- Fidone or Boerkircher, Nelson

    RT- Benhart, Brix

    RG- Corcoran, Lutovsky or Pyle

    C- Scott, Evans-Jenkins

    LG- Mazzccua, Piper? or Taumua

    LT- Prochazka, Knaak

DE- Lenhardt, Wallin or J. Williams

    NG- Hutmacher, Juedy

    DE- Robinson, Van Poppel

Jack- Pwill or Butler or Sherman

LB- S. Thomspon or Gbayor or Bullock

    LB- Wright or Borders, Rogers

NB- Gifford, Barnes or K. Williams

CB- B. Hill or Hartzog, Gradney

CB- T. Hill, Nation or Bootle

    S- Buford, Bretz or Benning

    S- Singleton, Collier

    PK- Alvano, Ottomanelli

    KOS- Alvano, Buscini

    P- Buschini, Koch

    LS- Witucki, DePooter

    KR-  T. HIll, Lloyd

Butler and Borders finished 23' on the Dline. Think it will be the Pwill/Sherman show at Jack. K. Williams is now a LBer. Van Poppel has only played DT.

Tennessee is blue blood.  Way more than you ever thought.  But you ought to know this.  They should be up in that 70% range.   They started in 1902.  Here is 100 years worth from 1926 to current.

Look at their history.  They won a lot.  Just ask any Alabama, Louisiana or Mississippi fan that is 30-80 years old.  They will tell you about Tennessee.

Let me know if see any good seasons.

I'm sure when it happened, players, students and fans celebrated those wins in the 20's 30's 40's 50's and so on as if the Beatles were on stage.  Or Elvis.

What I always liked about Tennessee, is that they are very similar to Nebraska.  Decades and decades of winning. Both great programs, had great players, great teams, great coaches.  Had to replace legendary guys.... had some bad luck coaching, some bad seasons during the last 10-15 years.....but they keep riding it out, grinding, rebuilding and bouncing back.  Huskers had the excitement of being National Champions a bit more for sure.

But both programs have been Blue Bloods through and through..... since Babe Ruth was swatting home runs and getting people excited about the long ball.

And also, in 1972, Tennessee had the SEC's first black college quarterback. Condredge Holloway.

Huskers are Blue Blood.  Tennessee is Blue Blood.  Know your stuff.

Can't argue the wins. However, I can't call you a blue blood program when you have won one national championship since 1967. Just my opinion.

Taumua is top rated player in Hawaii, but may not start or look quite up to par. He is coming off of a knee injury which kept him out of most of the season. Hopefully he plays enough and cont the healing process

Going up against Stone (5* DL) early. He’s held his own so far. Started at LG.
