I think the decision is already made. Why else would TO go out recruiting the next couple of days if more work had to be done on the coaching search. Not saying that saving this recruiting class isn't important, but right now the coaching search would be higher up in my opinion.
-
I would think's TO's son wouldn't let such a huge announcement get leaked to a stockboy at the store. Just my opinion.

Winning cures all ills

I plan on eating a bushel of corn on the cob and having a dramatic bowel movement to celebrate.
Charming...

I'm sure he's a nice guy, but the shape of the program is embarassing.
-
I've seen comments from people saying he can't recruit...but I have yet to see any evidence of it. Fact is, he seems to relate to young men very well, as his teams would do anything for him. That would be a major part of recruiting.
I haven't seen the evidence either. I'm willing to give him a shot, but it's out of my hands.

You can never tell with this guy anymore, is he telling the truth? Who knows....
-
No way we suffer through another disappointing year with an emotionless coach who can never tell it like it is.
-
I think we can win this one. If the defense can give the same effort as they did at Texas, but for all 4 quarters, then I think we have a shot. Get Purify the ball some Mo!!
-
I watched them play Akron awhile back since it was on gameplan and it looked they were doing some spread stuff. I remember them throwing the ball quite a bit, but still running on some plays.

After hearing the press conference, is Cali serious when he says he wants to finish his career here? It's as if he's totally oblivious to what's going on around him. What's with not wanting to take more money to leave now than would be otherwise entitled to him by contract? The CU game can't come soon enough.
-
We will definitely be back. Will we win 3 NC's in 4 years again? Maybe not, but I doubt any 'warm-weather' school will do that anytime soon either.
-
This guy is a friggin' genius. Who is dumb enough to pay these people for talking about the same subject over and over and over....
Guess the future is at places like Rice and San Diego St.
-
Someone that makes as much as Cali doesn't deserve the time to network for a new job. It's not like he's living paycheck to paycheck to support his family. He's lost all respect by not resigning.

Personally, I'm planning on building a time machine and reliving '94 and '95 for the rest of my life. College life, laziness, grunge music, Tommie Frazier and Tom Osborne. Ah...
Ahhh yes, those were the days...

Well, LSU won, but I still think we could get him.

Hmmm...let's see what's going on in college football right now.
Oh, I see Mizzou is up against Colorado 48 to 10 and there's about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Wait, if I remember correctly, Kansas just barely beat Colorado 19 to 14. Unless Colorado makes a miraculous comeback...looks like Mizzou is not only going to win against Colorado, but it looks like they are going to win by a substantial amount. I wonder what that means for Kansas on November 24th?
Listen, I'm happy Kansas is undefeated and representing the Big 12 North and is number 8 in the country, but I honestly have to say that I am not too impressed with them. They really haven't proven anything to me. They have only faced three "okay" teams, and when they did, they didn't win in a convincing fashion. I just have this feeling that Kansas is going to have alot of trouble against Mizzou.
What's more shocking is giving up 39 to us. Reminds me of CU in '01, their D was exposed to Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl. I think that'll happen to KU. Congrats on the win, enjoy it while it lasts.
-
That one-handed catch was amazing! The announcers made a comment to the effect that we had highly-ranked recruiting classes while KU didn't. That says a lot about our coaches.
-
If anything, this games shows how overrated KU's defense is. Kinda like CU in '01

Same observation, different game so the saying goes
-
Neither. They're both slow pocket passers. Keller has the better arm. Great kids, but both just band-aids in Cali's dysfunctional offense, if you can call it that.

Let's get this program back where it belongs!
How many LSU commits does Pelini bring?

It'll be nice having a defense next year for a change.
