Man this sucks! Girlfriend bought us tickets for out anniversary for our first game together. I've never been to a conference game (always get tickets for the cream puff games. Can't afford good tickets to good games) and had never been to a night game. Now we gotta wake up 8 am just to get there in time. I'm sure no one gives a sh#t, I just had to vent. Damn it!

Sirius has had a good run. But you have to evolve. I for one am hoping it's been retired. Looking forward to the future!

I have no problem with these. Modern look, while not over doing it. I love the matte red helmet. Could have been so much worse! (Like those God awful corn helmets people keep posting) We won't be a laughing stock wearing these.

Personally, I think Sirius is outdated and worn out. Like someone else said, maybe remake it heavier. Get 311 to do it, they're from Omaha and could put a good spin on it.

I know this isn't the question, but I'm saying it anyway. A 60000$ education is payment enough. My student loan payments are a bitch. Exploited? f'ing please! You don't see big cooperations paying off business degrees. Athletes on any campus are treated like royalty and eat better than a math/science major that might actually make the world a better place to live in. Stipend restructuring? Ya, sure. That's OK. Does the math/science major make as much for the University as a football player? Of course not, but their impact on society sure as hell does.

 

I was on my home from work on Monday (driving, couldn't call in) listening to Mark Packard on Sirius XM, and they had Iowa fans calling in like crazy bashing Nebraska. There was some serious hate coming in and not a single Nebraska fan called in to stand up. Pack kept saying that, "Nebraska is just getting DESTROYED by Iowa today!" This went on for about a half an hour! Apparently Iowa hates us more than we do them. It was disappointing, I had to change the station to Jam_On.

That is why the Black Friday game is hollow. Nebraska doesn't care about Iowa.
