  1. What is the difference between Zac not running the ball well when the RB's never did any better last night? What does that say? Plain and simple, the O line can not hold a block for more than a sec, they don't drive off the ball and they don't move their feet, why is every running play stopped at the line of scrimmage with a big pile? B/C the O line makes the point of contact and quits driving their feet and gets planted in the ground by the defense. As far as the sideline talk between Zac and Bo, of course Bo is going to yell at him, but has anyone ever seen Bo go over to his O line and yell? Of course they are not going to show that on TV.

Amen. Zac isn't very good, but the oline is worse. Untill those guys set their purse down and block with both hands and an attitude it won't matter who is at qb.

  2. Kick the friggin ball into the end zone and this is probably all mute

It makes me sick to say this but the truth is, Adi kicked it out of bounds, Asante did a horse collar tackle, there was 1 second left when the ball hit the ground, and he made a clutch kick. No conspiricy, just crappy luck, any one of those doesn't happen and we win, but they all legitimately happened, period. I'm pissed too, but we need to be more classy than this. Win or lose we need to be the better team.

  3. Its so nice to see Rex getting more touches, he's a great change up. This kid does such a fantastic job getting tough yards, and he holds onto the f'ing ball in traffic! *cough Q cough* I cant wait till he gets more of the playbook under his belt. God winning feels good. :restore

  5. If i figure it out, i WILL post it. Just so you know ahead of time

Probably waterboy LOL but no seriously if anyone finds out who it is please post it so we can all see

I say we go about this methodically and take the time to do some research, scan over the Kansas State roster and look for players from Nebraska, or those that have relatives who have played at Nebraska. Again, if you have any leads or are able to figure out who it is please post it right away so everybody knows. Thank you

Seriously dude? Respect the guy's family's privacy and stop persistantly trying to defy him. Why do you care so much anyway? It's very creeper-ish.

Thanks GB I appreciate that. Really classy corv, you're exactly the kind of person that gives blogs a bad name.

  6. Hey everyone, I know its been a long time since I posted. Since my son plays for KSU I have been living on thier boards taking a crash course on K-State football. (insert joke here, ya I know) I cant wait for the season to start, the two good things are that my son gets to play D-1, and also now I get to root for two teams to stomp a mud hole in the Gayhawks a$$. I hope all is well with you guys, and Go Big Red 364 days a year. :)

  7. Well, parity seems to have been pretty kind to OU, TU, USC, Ohio State, Florida, etc.

I think that's just an excuse. No offense intended.

With all of the changes made over the last decade in college football talent is spread out more evenly every where, obviously Oklahoma has more than Ohio, but now with a slightly more level playing field its becoming more about who has the best coaches and scheme and who can develope talent.

  8. Just trying to keep from going nuts waiting for football to start again.

    North

    1 NU - Not just Kool-Aide

2 KU - Mainly because of Reising

3 MU - Thier offense graduated or went pro

4 CU - The RB Stewart will be a good spark

5 KSU - Bill will get them in line soon, but not yet

6 ISU - because they are ISU.

    South

    1 UT - McCoy

2 OU - A battle woth UT for 1 just like every year

3 TT - Leach has gradually been getting better @ TT and I wonder when they will peak out

    4 OSU - Perpetually underperform

5 UB - QB will slowly change Baylor football into something respectable

    6 A&M - A long road for 2nd year staff

    Overall

    1 UT

    2 OU

    3 NU

    4 TT

    5 KU

    6 MU

    7 OSU

    8 CU

    9 KSU

    10 UB

    11 A&M

    12 ISU

    Thoughts?

You drinking the UT (8-5 starters back kool-aide!), McCoy will be a senior with how many Big 12 titles? ZERO! Bob Stoops (5-9 starters back) has 6 to Brown's 1! OSU was 9-4 and lost to UT 28-24 in Austin and return 9-10 starters and get Missouri, UT and Tech at HOME! Bill Young is the new DC from Miami and Kansas and they have the best WR in the Nation and AA LT in Okun, AA RB in Hunter, with Totson at backup and a very good dual threat SENIOR QB in Zach Robinson! This ain't 2005 UT and they lost entire DL and top WR and need a running game!

A lack of talent hasnt been an issue for OSU in years.........its actually doing something with it, and 3rd or 4th in the division is pretty much where they stay year after year.

  9. I find it interesting that so many people want more speed on defense, but the fastest LB on the team is a walk-on (May) so some of these same people don't think he'll be a starter or significant contributor. I think there's a reason those schollie LB's stayed redshirted - May and Holt are good players. I think May will end up in the 2 deep this fall at WLB with a definite chance to be the starter.

I dont really have an opinion if he starts. But when annoucers say and NU has 2 walk-ons starting today, it makes NU seems untalented. And for the people who dont want to start it is because if football you just dont run, you have to do other things such as tackling ;) . So even if they want speed May may not be the best guy, because obviously if he was good enough Bo would have gave him a scholarship.

Or he would give that scholarship to a Texas kid knowing full well if he asks almost any kid in Nebraska to walk on they would in a heart beat.

  10. Just some rumblings about the blood pressure that may end his playing days for the big red. NOT CONFIRMED......just some stuff that is being passed around. Again this is my somewhat educated guess, that is all.

what ever is going on with ronell?

Ronell Grixby? Heart issues, he's done.

  11. I have a question. What about if you're 17 or 18 and the girl is 14? Most High School seniors are going to be 17 or 18 and incoming freshman are going to be 14 or 15. So how about this situation? I know this is a little off topic from about Cody, but just interested in knowing the rule here. I would say many times an 18 year old senior has been with a 14 year old freshman, so just wondering about this. Cuz if this is against the law you would think high schools would need to have info meeting on this to inform students and parents the laws. With this a possibility I would think the state might even make a law enforcing High schools to be grade 10-12 to try and keep certain age groups from mingling too much. Very interesting topic actually.

18 and 14? .............. even if it werent illegal (wich it is) its disgusting. <_<
