  1. The concerning thing for me about Sims is that he just looks very indecisive and/or timid when dropping back to pass.  He stares down his primary target hoping that he comes open.  I never once saw him scan the field for second or check down options.  Only game 1 I know.  Defense looked much improved.  I was nervous about the 3-3-5 working in the B1G but they looked to hold their own especially when it mattered most.  Only game 1 I know.  Now lets go kick Colorado's a**!

  2. I know this will probably get moved but I just wanted to get some eyes on it. My wife and I are probably coming up to Lincoln from Texas for the Rutgers game for my birthday. We have never been to Nebraska before and I am SOOOOO excited to finally be able to witness a game first hand. This is like a lifelong dream of mine to accomplish.

So I you could be so kind:

Best Hotel within walking distance to stadium?

    Foods that we MUST try?

Can anyone use some tourist at their tailgate party?

Thank you all in advance! :wasted:cowbell::koolaid2::bigredn::throwdabones1:

  3. Stafford, Texas

Two people died after their car ran head-first into a Jeep traveling the wrong way on the freeway.

The accident happened early Sunday morning in the Stafford area.

Officials said Shiela Cronk, 26, and Justin Springer, 26, were pronounced dead on arrival after the collision on Highway 59 south of Kirkwood.

Both victims were from Lincoln, Nebraska.

The driver of the Jeep was taken to the hospital. No word yet on his condition.

Officials said alcohol may have played a role in the accident.

Officials said as of now, no charges have been filed.

  4. Last Friday I was involved in a hit and run accident in which a coward rear ended me and fled the scene. I was on my way to work and had to take the day off because of it. Now generally I know and realize I would be screwed in this situation, BUT coincidently his front bumper fell off of his vehicle and attached to it was his license plate. I have taken all of the proper steps on my end by obtaining a police report, notifying my insurance company, and getting my truck to the repair shop. I have never been in an accident before. My question is; if my insurance company reports back to me saying that he doesn't have insurance, is there anything I can do legally to get the money I am spending on repairs, overtime lost at work, and back pay from my doctor visits?

    P.S.

    This happened in Houston, TX.

I also have obtained this coward's address through a good friend of mine.

Any help I can get is MUCH appreciated...

  5. We Nebraska fans are so lucky to have a great man like TO. 99% percent of universities have never had a TO and probably never will. I feel bad for Bo, those are giant shoes to fill.

Many years ago I was in Lincoln on a Friday afternoon and stopped to see the stadium (had just put in FieldTurf). Gates were open so I walked in and strolled around the stadium a bit. I sat down in the South end zone to hang out as it was a nice late Spring day, and then someone came jogging in through the North end zone entrance coming my way. It was TO. He stopped when he got to me to ask if he could help me with anything, we exchanged a few pleasantries, and then he went on his jogging way. Nice guy, class act.

Man, that would be so cool to just walk on in the stadium like you own it and hang out there or run around for a bit. I hear stories this is how it used to be, until 9-11 and then certain precautions were taken because of that and now it's heavily secure, especially in the North end-zone?

Yea thanks a lot Bin Laden!!!
