You are right it is an SEC-ACC game, 2011 isnt set but 12 and 13 are sec and acc, thinking it over I dont think it will change either. Would like to see maybe the Big-10 and Big 12 have a opening game match up every yr. at a neutral site.

I have a couple of guns at the house, but for home defense I prefer my full-tang broadsword and/or my hickory axe handle wrapped in black tape, depending on where I am when the bad guy comes in. I'd rather leave them with broken bones and a staved-in head than risk shooting my family by accident.

 

As you read above the man who was charged for shooting a burglar but also an intruder can sue you for injuring him. Thats why I keep hollow points in mine, dead men tell no lies or cant sue.

Fire a Glock and form your own opinion, I dont agree with Jr., never had a problem with my Glock, always accurate.

I would get a .40 but do buy a name brand, I carry a Glock .40 or a springfield XD compact for concealment both very good guns.

Not entirely screwed. I have a S.C. CWP and Ga. or Fla. doesnt recipocate with S.C... Why they dont is just stupid but I got a non-resident license from the state of New Hampshire for 20 bucks and it allows me to carry in 15 more states. You have to get your Ga. permit first then google search NH non-resident CWP for the form and just send a copy of your Ga. CWP if Ga. allows that. It is just crazy that all states dont reconize each others permit. I carry a Glock 23 also and sometimes a XD compact .40

Yes shotguns do have there uses and I am not saying dont get one but moving around in a house with a shotgun can leave you exposed at times if an intruder is in the home, I do have a Mossburg pump, if you buy one get an auto. as the pump require more time. The good thing about a shotgun used as self defense is once you shot it you will make a lot of noise and normally hit what you aim at.

Why do you want a shotgun for home protection? If someone does invade your housethat thing is going to hard to wheel around in a room, although effective when you can draw a bead, you want miss. A handgun is easier to hide and carry around in a house.If you are ste on a shotgun, they do make shorter ones with pistolgrip handles and shorter barrels. Happy gun hunting.
