  1. You are absolutely right about the respect others have for the Husker Nation because of how we, as a whole, respect others. My wife married into the Nation when she married me and she is dumbfounded everytime we go out somewhere and I see another Husker fan. I make a point of stopping and saying hello or something to them. She is amazed how two perfect strangers can immediately start talking like they have known one another for years. I tell her that is the special part of being a part of the Husker Nation. We truely are one big family. GO BIG RED!!!!!

    1) How long have you been a Husker? 25 yrs

     

    2) Why did you become a Husker? My parents were born in Nebraska, and we always watched the games growing up.

     

    3) Where are you from originally? Born in Hawaii. Lived in Detroit majority of my life.

     

    4) Where do you live now? Detroit

     

    5) Favorite Husker memory? My first game at Memorial back in 1992. What a day!!

     

    6) Worst Husker memory? Iowa St game in Ames I attended a couple yrs ago

     

    7) Number of home games attended? 6

     

    8) Number of away games attended? 3

     

    9) How many pieces of Husker attire do you own? 8

     

    10) North or South endzone? North - only one Ive been in.

     

    11) Favorite all time player? Tommie Frazier

     

    12) WCO or Option? Option - but the WCO is growin on me!

     

    13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? Didnt mind Bill Byrne too much, and dont care for Steve at all - so by default BB.

     

    14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? Herbie all the way!!

     

    15) Favorite Husker play? Option

     

    16) Red beer or bloody mary? Gotta go with the bloody mary.. spicy with an olive and pepper..mmmmmmmm!!!

     

    I also want to just add that since I wasnt "born" into Husker Nation like many of you, some other things stand out to me. One of the most important parts of Husker Nation to me is the overall respect and knowledge the fans have. I get comments all the time from people, in Detroit of all places, about how much they respect the Huskers b/c of OUR respect that we show for everyone else. See, some things truly are contagious!! Be good to others and it will come back to you, which I think is very true when it comes to Husker Nation, which Im honored to be a part of.

    1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation?

    I guess I officially became a member of the Nation when I listened to my first Nebraska football game on the radio in Omaha in 1976. I was hooked from that moment on.

     

    2) What/who led you to The Nation?

    My dad was transferred to Offutt AFB. The rest is history.

     

    3) Where are you from originally?

    Military Brat. Born in California

     

    4) Where do you live now?

    Wylie, Texas (Freshman QB Patrick Witt came from our high school)

     

    5) Favorite Husker memory?

    My first Tunnel Walk inside Memorial Stadium Missouri game 2006.

     

    6) Worst Husker memory?

    Any lost to any Texas team.

     

    7) Number of home games attended?

    1. Already bought my tickets for this year's Iowa State game.

     

    8) Number of away games attended?

    (3) Alamo Bowl Games

    (1) Independence Bowl Game

    (1) Game at Baylor

     

     

    9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel?

    Anything Red/White/Black/Khaki as long as it represents the Big Red

    I am also pretty partial to my Husker tattoo on my upper left arm.

     

    10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.)

    Anywhere I am with my two younger brothers/best friends

    Tommie Frazier

     

    12) WCO or Option?

    Undecided on the WCO. When we ran the ball like we did in the early 90's it was a thing of beauty.

    Tommie Frazier's run in the Fiesta Bowl, Eric Crouch's touchdown catch against OU, The "Fumbleruski", Johnnie Roger's run against OU, etc.

    Got to try a "Red Beer" last year. Not too bad at all!
