Where's TrueMizzou today? He hasn't popped in to tell us how lame it is to live in the past since, um, before the KU game.
How about those Jayhawks??
I'm right here, getting ready for the Big 12 championship game. You remember what that is, don't you?
I figured you would, knowing how much the past means to you. You can have it, I'd rather look to the future.
I'm no bandwagon fan either. I've been going to Mizzou games since I was six, graduated from there, and live in BugeaterLand only because I'm here on military orders. I'm happy to serve you by the way.
Oh, and one final thing:
52-17
Anything else?
Somebody flag this post....We'll want to tease him when the scores are reversed next year... They're going to miss that offensive coordinator....
I dont think Missouri will miss Christensen immediately, but in the long run they will.

Alabama over Florida
Oklahoma over Missouri
USC over UCLA
Arizona State over Arizona
Cincinnati over Hawaii
California over Washington

I sure as hell do. The guy is so cocky I cant stand him. I'll definitely be pulling for Bama.
your logic is skewed. I'm pretty sure Saban is twice as cocky as Meyer but i'm pullin for bama just cause i hate tebow.
I disagree - Urban Meyer is by far the cockiest coach in the NCAA
-
Jarvis, dont go to Tennessee - you wont like having Bill Callahan for an offensive coordinator!

edit: still trying a way to root for a Florida team, none found yet....
LOL

According to rivals, our coaching staff made a visit to Omigie, so I guess we're still recruiting him. I really hope we land him, he looks like a sleeper IMO
-
HSKRNOKC, how has Cody Green's team done so far this year? I havent been able to keep up ever since my subscription to rivals expired...
Do they still only have 1 loss? Did they win their district & did they make the playoffs yet?

Apparently Steve Sarkisian has been hired as the new head coach at Washington. I don't know how good of a hire this was, I'm pretty sure most USC fans wanted Sarkisian gone anyway. IMO Sarkisian cant possibly be any worse than Tyrone Willingham was, so at least he has that going for him...

Missouri fans are so cocky its ridiculous. Geeze, you really think we don't remember the score of the game? Yeah, Nebraska got humiliated, no denying it. But this is a Husker board, for Husker fans, do you really think I give a **** what some Missouri fan trying to talk down to us thinks? You guys got a good team & I think you guys will stay competitive in the Big XII, but if you think Missouri will continue to win the North every single year, dream on

Good move by Oklahoma State IMO. Mike Gundy is a good coach & has them headed in the right direction.
-
So....with Sutton apparently out of the picture (since his top 2 are Arizona & Arizona State) & that Trinity DT apparently committed to Utah, will Latu Heimuli be the last DT we take (if he commits)?
-
Honestly, I think Leach should stay at Texas Tech, he will have more success there than at Auburn. I say this b/c even though Texas typically gets the first pick out of Texas in recruiting, Texas is a big state & Leach has done a good enough job recruiting to stay competitive there. Alabama does not have as much talent as Texas & IMO he will not win many recruiting battles against Nick Saban there. Not saying he wont have success at Auburn, just that he'd be more successful by staying at Tech.
If anything, he should go to Syracuse...the Big East sucks

Nebraska's offense will control clock. On defense, we probably give up 2 or 3 big plays to Spiller, but ultimately our defense is better against the run than the pass & by the late 3rd or early 4th we will shut down or at least limit their running game.
Nebraska 35
Clemson 31

I would say just to get him experience for next year since we're losing our top two receivers, Swift & Peterson. He may end up being 1 of our main receiving threats next year so getting him game time experience this year would help for next year.
BTW I'm not trying to say we should pull his RS for the bowl game or anything like that. I'm just saying I think he may end up being here for only 4 years so it wouldve been nice if we couldve gotten him some PT this year

Like everyone else on this board, I thought it was awesome when Suh kicked over Hawkins and I was especially excited when he threw the ball against the wall, (always one to love excessive celebrations) but was anyone else worried about the possible consequences of Suh's actions?
1. Suh fumbles the ball, a-la LeKevin Smith, CU recovers, goes on to kick a game winning 58 yard field goal.
2. Had Suh just taken a knee we could have just run the clock out.
Like I said, I think the way things turned out was/is amazing, but am I the only with who had doubts at the time?
I agree that a player should always takes the knee & end the game if it results in a victory for his team - no need for unnecessary risks. Suh probably shouldve just gone down but it was pretty sweet watching him run over Cody Hawkins. However, prior to the game Colorado's kicker had missed 10 out of his last 12 field goals & his long was 37, so theres no chance he hits a 58 yarder.

I'm pretty sure thats incorrect. Pac 10 teams play 9 conference games each year, & theres 10 teams in the Pac 10, so every team in the Pac 10 plays USC once a year.
-
Theres more 2 it than that (at least according to what I read on the rivals message board). Ball State wanted the matchup to be on a neutral field but Boise State only wanted to play Ball State at home & Ball State wouldnt accept. If true, I'd say thats gutless on Boise State's part.

BigRedfxtoy - Nebraska is recruiting Braxton Chitty as a WR, not QB - so I dont think it would jeopardize Cody Green's commitment

I'm not sure you understand the point I was trying to make. I'm saying if hes only going to be around 4 years, what was the point of redshirting him? If hes only going to be here for 4 years, we might as well get him some experience this year since we're losing our top 2 receivers.

Even if Giles commits to South Carolina, its not a done deal IMO. If we beat Clemson in the Gator Bowl (the same Clemson that just a week ago clobbered South Carolina) he could change his mind.
End of the regular season, we need to hear from TuffTiger

Finally, its about time someone stated the obvious, thank you! TuffTiger is an idiot, theres nothing funny about any of his posts.
