According to ESPN's box score, Martinez today:
Completed 29 of 38 passes to NINE different receivers for 308 yards, 2 TDs, no interceptions, and rushed for 53 on 12 carries. You can't really do much more to help your team win than he did today. Insanely impressive game from Taylor. Too bad nobody gave him much help today.

Props to my buddies Brock and Kelly who kill it with these new highlights.
These guys are doing NFL Films caliber work in my humble opinion.. Give 'em some love from huskerboard for us.

The OP's point is that the media isn't on our side.
I really don't think that's the case at all. Nebraska has gotten a lot of love from the media this season (and pre-season). We're on our Big Ten honeymoon, and the coverage has been about as thorough and favorable as you could ask for, at least in my opinion.

Thanks. Your boys have obviously been through the wringer this month, but look on the bright side, you got through the brutal part of your schedule with a 3-1 record. Your schedule for the rest of the season sets up way better than Nebraska's or Michigan's. Good luck to you as well.

that November is going to be a fun month in the Legends division.

Tim Beck is a rootin' tootin' half time adjustin' machine.

Nebraska has not lost a home game to a team whose primary color is green since Baylor beat them in 1956.
All of your random factoids about this game have been great, but this one really takes the cake.

Sports betting might not be a good idea for you then................
A fact I'm already well aware of.

Really, I thought it was going to be more like 4.5-5.5 in the other direction...

I don't understand why you guys wouldn't want another shot at MSU. They played well, but they were lucky at the end, and in college football it's always hard to win a rematch. Given, you guys blew us out when you played us and I'm sure you think you could do it again, but Nebraska probably has more room to improve between now and December than Wisconsin or MSU, and we would have the "rematch" advantage against UW...
The Big10 is funny - there are some teams that you just don't like playing. MSU always struggles against Iowa - look at last year, but for Iowa we win the conference. Overall they weren't great, but they kicked the Spartans A**. I swear that Iowa could be in the midst of a raging cholera epidemic, coached by Luther Van Dam and still squash us like a bug.
This is beyond true...Wisconsin frequently gets tripped up at MSU and UW and Minn almost always play close regardless of the records. You can see this kind of thing throughout the conference.... I'm tired of playing the Spartans, losing to them 3 of the last 4 will do that. They spoiled yet another season.
Well, now, I know it stings tonight, but honestly, there's no guarantee you guys were going to the NCG even if you ran the table, and you've still got the conference championship and the Rose Bowl ahead of you. I wouldn't say your season is ruined exactly.

While the loudest and probably most inebriated sections [the students] will be just getting out of bed
But see, the vast majority of the crowd will have started their day with the early bird special. Those folks are are a little too sleepy to get loud during night games, but they'll be ready to go at 11. Show those students a thing or two for a change.

On the bright side, this probably helps home field advantage. The blue hairs should be ready to rock and roll at 11:00 in the morning.

Man, come on...

One thing I love about Dantonio - first with Little Giants - and now the hail Mary - "Rocket". It looks like such a piece of luck on the field, but when they asked Cousins about how long they had been practicing it he said the have been working on it at the end of the Thursday practice for the last 5 years.
Hey, great game tonight. See you in Indy hopefully.
Hopefully not.

It's messed up we had to play them twice in a row at East Lansing....no excuse but still
Why was that?
I'm guessing that would be because of us. Indirectly.
-
the team that beat the team that destroyed us. why am i not very confident we can hang with sparty?
You can't really use that logic too much. For instance, Michigan St beat Michigan who beat Notre Dame who beat Michigan St. Also, they beat Ohio St by 3 the week before we beat them by 7. Also, tonight was Wisconsin's first true road game and they looked a lot shakier than they have all season.
Now come on over and have some of my Kool Aid.

I'll tell you what I noticed today. Taylor quietly played another very good game. There were three or four bad drops today; the receivers probably cost him another 80 passing yards and a couple of TDs. The only big mistakes that I can remember off the top of my head were a couple of poor pitches, so all in all another encouraging performance.

Less talented, better coached.
I like to poke fun at Snyder, but that old man knows what he's doing. If any one coach has ever done more for a school's football program, I'd like to hear about it.

This has definitely been noticed, as have several other comments from members to other members. This is NOT what we do at HuskerBoard, folks.
Apologies, knapp and to da skers as well. I must have gotten up on the wrong side of bed this morning.

Couldn't disagree more. Absolutely clueless to the reality of the situation.
And you say that because? I'm clueless to what your view really is.
I don't think you're smart enough to understand.
You have become one of the most obnoxious regular contributors to this board.

Once again our Oline wears an opponent down in the 2nd half. Glad we're going into a bye, because Rex, among others, is going to be feeling it this week.

NOOOOO WAYYY SJB!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA

I will be quiet for the rest of the game lest I say something that can later be claimed to have jinxed it.
Dude, don't jinx it.

This game is more on Beck and the offense than it is on Carl and the defense. The red zone turnovers killed us, obviously. Bad play calls. Rex was obviously not anywhere near 100%. The result is way too many short drives.... Northwestern had a 10 minute TOP advantage, and they are a spread team.... the defense was probably pretty gassed by the 4th quarter.
