  1. If Mickey could fire War Daddy Duval today and replace him with some random person from the local planet fitness the line play might actually improve.

It was a good day in Laramie when he left town.

(Edit) below is what occurred before and after he left

    2020
    2020 Wyoming Season 2-4 (covid)
    2019 Wyoming Season 8-5

    2017 Wyoming Season 8-5
    2016 Wyoming Season 8-6

    Duval Leaves
    2015 Wyoming Season 2-10
    2014 Wyoming Season 4-8

Bohl played for the Huskers and was their DC before Solich fired him.  Bohl then wound up at North Dakota State where he built a FCS dynasty finishing with three consecutive FCS championships.  He also grew up in Lincoln so he knows the Big Red Traditions developed by Devaney and Osbourne.

That's Bohls Wyoming resume without Josh Allen

That's an inside joke around here,  "with our resources". Was said about Mike Riley and how much better he'd do at Nebraska than Oregon State.

And last I checked, 10 million people doesn't qualify as 75% of the nation.

No,  I apologize, I shouldn't have replied at all.

Kinda been a rough few past hours as a Wyoming fan.  Especially after yesterday's bowl win.

Now with my Husker hat on, go get Neyor!!

He is Toure only faster and taller.

He looked pretty solid in that, not fast but can make some moves.

When your 6' 4. 220+ lbs you don't look fast,  but if you run 80 yards untouched that's fast enough.  I blame Bohl, this kid should have been the starter from day one.

I would like CSU to be a decent program, but they have been a dumpster fire in recent years.  The one exception is that coach who went to Florida after a couple of good seasons at CSU.  CSU also has a really nice on-campus stadium, so it would be nice to actually go see some decent football being played there.

Sorry Wyoming only plays there every other year

    Let’s be frank.

It has been nearly 20 years of this...abysmal coaching. And I do not see anything from Frost that suggests he is different. I’m not saying the program will fire him now, but, as I see it, it’s inevitable.

So who could this program turn to?

    Mike Reiley

I see them week in week out playing toe to toe with the best teams the BIG 12 has to offer. It’s year 1 for the new regime, you can’t tell me they have better talent than us. Any insight?

There DC is amazing, but the guy a bus ticket and get him to Lincoln

That even with a 44-8 win and not allowing an offensive TD, this fan base still finds ways to nitpick and bitch about the team versus enjoying the win. I swear, we're the most self absorbed fan base in CFB.

Any team that calls a swing pass 3 yards deep in there own endzone deserves just a small amount of nitpicking I believe.

I wasn't stating in the opposite; he can develop QBs.

It really makes what's happening to Josh Allen this year quite peculiar, but I haven't followed Wyoming enough to know exactly what's ailing him.

Josh Allen isn't putting up last years numbers because Wyoming lost a 1500 yard plus a year running back to the NFL with no viable replacement. Wyoming also lost a lot of skill positions to graduation (mainly Tanner Gentry who starts for the Bears now).  If it wasn't for Wyomings Defense this year it would be pretty bleak.

Hey, I’m not saying he is horrible or even a bad coach. I realize he had some success at NDSU. But he hasn’t really done anything at Wyoming and, being in the stands at Boulder in 2001, I can say he had no clue as a DC on how to slow them down and didn’t even attempt any adjustments. If he makes the top ten considerations list for Nebraska, the list sucks. We have to shoot much much higher IMO.

Trust me I don't want him at Nebraska either.
