Damn here we go again. There are only two camps. Those that love bo and those that hated bo AND wanted Mike Riley. I wanted Bo gone and and was not happy with the Riley hire. This game isn't changing my mind....

I liked Bo, but thought someone else might do better, if they made the right hire. It's obvious they didn't make the right hire.

The haters got what they deserved, an NCAA record bust, be careful what you wish for when you fire a 9 win coach. Present day Osborne wouldn't stand a chance against this instant gratification generation of fools.

TO's worst team was better than Bo's best, but TO would have had a tough time surving the consecutive bowl loss streak.

Late 80's people were calling for TO's head.

Just like they did with Bo, last year.

If social media existed back then, TO would have been gone.

How is this fan base supposedly the "best and smartest in the country" when a lot of them seem to be nothing but a bunch of ignorant front running drama queens.

I hope this board isn't representative of most Husker fans.......if the people posting on this board represent Nebraska fans, well, f em.

And here come the guys who judge people's fandom based on their own opinions.

Super. Let me know how that works out for you.

  4. Who are some of these damn fools posting in here? MR had a great strategy to start the game, had his guys ready. Then after a rough 2nd quarter made adjustments that shut down BYU and got is two quick TD's... Another thing Bo could never do. Nebraska would've allowed 3 in the 2nd half if it weren't for the final dagger, which isn't on the coaches. That was won by the BYU players, nothing more. Nothing less.

Bo didn't break a 30 year streak. Or 29, or whatever.

  5. "Ah shucks" - Mike Riley

As a life long Oregon State fan I feel your pain. Want to trade for Gary Anderson? Just kidding... You can keep that bunch of coaching clowns...

He's here to collect his retirement, then he'll be replaced.

    Pretty much what I expected.

He will be living fat and happy after he has a 4 win season.

  6. Finally got my PS4 last night. Currently have NBA 2k14 and FIFA 14. Going to stick with these for a while but was wondering what everyone recommends? No way I'm reading all the way back through this thread. Too lazy for that.

I just got AC4 Black Flag the other night. It looks absolutely incredible. 1080p and at 60fps, it plays so smooth. I'm only a couple of hours into it, but I can tell my whole weekend will be absorbed by it.

  7. Thanks for all the ideas fellas!

I'm going to inquire at my kids school and a couple of churches here in town. A lot of the places I have checked and that my classmates have checked need orientation and all this stuff prior to getting hours. Working full time, plus school full time, throw in the wife and a kid... Ain't nobody got time for orientation!

I would love to volunteer at humane society, but our instructor is telling us it has to deal with families, religion, veterans... I love me some dogs though, usually more than humans.

Husker 37, I did apply at a veteran hospice place in Bellevue. They have yet to get back to me about it, which is frustrating. I'd love to sit with some old WWII vets and hear their stories.

I should have mention this in the beginning of the thread, but it has to be in or around Omaha.

  8. Taking a class at Bellevue University, and I need to volunteer at least 12 hours worth. I've checked a few places and they all need references, background checks or orientation training first before I can even get any hours.

Does anyone here volunteer? Any suggestions?

I'd love to just sign up and go for a few hours on a weekend for a couple of weeks. If any of you volunteer, and you need help at your organization, please let me know.

    Thanks!
