Someone want to explain what the online entails? Is it like a Call of Duty sort of thing or what?
I just started playing. What i can tell, is that you can free roam Los Santos and cause chaos, or chose to do missions. I don't have any friends playing this on PS3 right now, but I could see it being an absolute blast to have a crew of 4 going crazy. A lot of the missions require multiple people, so random invites don't turn out to well.
I could see it as having major potential.
if anyone wants to add me on PS3 my name is StuNutz

me and the wife really liked this how.
At least watch the first episode, and see a nice shower scence. (donna from that 70's show topless)

This audio should not surprise anyone.
I couldn't care less.
I actually like him more now.

anyone getting it tonight?
YUP!
So far, metacritic has it averaging 97/100 out of 25 published reviews.
Looks like it's living up to the hype!

So after this subpar season we lose our senior QB, backups hardly have any play time.
Might as well just write off this season and the next 2 seasons as well.

Well this kool aid just went sour...

I have started juicing during lunch.
The wife will wake up and go to the kitchen (as she should) and make us our veggie juices for lunch.
It actually tastes pretty decent, I've lost 17lbs in about 7 weeks, without changing anything else about my lifestyle.
Saves money, I feel better and I don't miss lunch at all anymore.
And believe me, I LOVE food.

TMart. He made good decisions, effective, conservative when he needed to be and aggressive when it counted.
Defense: ALL of them. I had major doubts, but they stepped up today.

A snuggie can be worn in 94 deg temps.

I have no worries about the offense.
He makes good decisions now, avoids fumbles, injury, he's smarter. He is what we need. He's effective.

I'll be up for hours...

Today was one of the classics. Need for speed underground on the GameCube.
I loved that game back in the day

70" Sharp LED 3D
5.1 surround sound
PS3 and 360
Full fridge w/ Ice maker
Leg Lamp (fragile)
Full weight set with treadmill and eliptical so the PS3 doesn't get me too out of shape.
Computer Upstairs:
AMD Black Quad Core CPU
256gb SSD
16Gig RAM
Nvidia 1G DDR5 Video card
Score 7.5 out of max 7.9 on windows experience
24" Asus 1080p monitor
Planning on cleaning up cables whenever I get around to painting, hopefully wood floors down here when I get some help.
I never go upstairs.
And yes, I was maxing out bench that day.
Wifi laughs at your bench weight.
That's what, about 10lbs. more than you bench?
Maybe I don't come from a naturally strong family
I said I was maxing out that day. And apparently I have super short arms...
GUNS!

Awesome setup.
This is me and my friend's current Iraq set up. Our set up back home isn't as messy and with better quality equipment.
Our mooj 32" tv that we bought here.
Xbox 360
My Dell XPS M1530 with a 3TB Western Digital External (We use this as our sort of platoon internal movie server)
My iPad that doubles as an external monitor
The cheap Creative speaker system I got from the unit we replaced here.
We only get to play on it at nights 2 days a week, but when we do, it's a good night.
That reminds me of when I was deployed...
Just noticed the dry erase board. That's funny.

I am disappointed in this board. I love listening to Bobcat make the rounds on podcasts, he always has tremendously funny stories to tell.
Also, have you guys seen his recent movies? He's become a fairly notable independent writer/director - nobody makes dark comedies like he does.
His movie "God Bless America" is on Netflix streaming. Haven't seen it. Any good?
Watched it based on TNT's review I heard one morning.
Very dark comedy, it's kind of like "Falling Down" with Michael Douglas, but this guy takes it out on reality TV stars.
I found it very entertaining, but I could see how one could hate it if you are offended easily.

Oh, and I forgot to factor in all the material stuff they will destroy, cars, furniture, electronics... the list will never end.

Plus your sanity, sex life, free time, friend time and overall joy.

Finished this game last week.
One of, if not THE best video game experience I've ever had.
-
I've got three days of PTO scheduled for work because of this game.
I don't know if I'm happy or ashamed of this.

Spec Ops - The Line. Just started this one. Anyone else play this?
I'm about half way through it. I like it, much better writing than usual shooters.
I beat it last night, The last major combat section is a pita, and played through a couple chapters again after. Definitely not your usual story for a game. And actually more like a movie script really. The ending drops so much of the earlier game, and events into a new light. Worth playing for the story alone if honestly, especially if you can score it cheap (Got it on a Steam sale, love those)
I'm working on that one right now, got it free with PSN Plus, I'm impressed so far, I think I'm on chapter 10 or so.

Not Netflix related, but does anyone watch The Newsroom on HBO?
I think Newsroom would be good. But I haven't seen it because I canceled HBO a couple years back. Mostly because I'm a little pissed at HBO right now. Seems like when I get interested in a series they pull the plug. Like Deadwood. That was an AWESOME series. Before it mysteriously, prematurely disappeared. At least most of the other HBO series I liked ran for a few years before they pulled the plug.
Or Carnivale
That show was fantastic.
