Just saw on espn that Kirky Herbstreit thinks that if Kansas state and Oregon win out that Notre dame will Play the Big 10 champion in the Rose Bowl. I have not watched Notre dame at all this year, so I guess my Question is how do we stack up with them?

I remember Last year on the monday after the Wisconsin Game on Sports nightly Tom Osborne saying that the Wisconsin fan's ( Mainly the Students) were tossing stuff at him and another guy as they made there way to there suite to watch the game. Sound's Alot like Colorado fans if U ask me, but My question here is how do our fans react to this? I hope the Sea Of Red Does not do anything even remotely close to this.

Alabama safety prospect Jonathan Cook. Just committed...on the phone with him right now.

“Nebraska is something different,” Cook said. “I just want to go somewhere that I can play. They have a good corners coach and they’ve sent a lot of corners to the NFL. I think I fit in with what they do on defense.”

Cook told me he called Terry Joseph and Bo Pelini today to make his commitment official. Nebraska is recruiting him as a cornerback. Much more to come.

I,m looking at possibly buying tickets out the stadium for some of the home games this year, I have never pursued this route when purchasing tickets so I have had a few questions come to mind. First what are the tricks of the trade when buying outside the stadium? I know there are scalpers every place it seems. Secondly Is it usualy more difficult finding seats together? ( talking like 3-4 tickets) Next I,m guessing the bigger the game the harder it is to find seats what is the best time to buy for big games such as Wisconsin Michigan ect? And Lastly what is a decent price to pay for tickets? I know bigger games will prolly be higher. Thanks

I am looking for 2-3 tickets to the Southern Miss game ( would consider student tickets but prefer east stadium if i go this route)

I agree with you! I do hope he moves to the front office and fills an admin position. I think he is generally a good guy (must be...he graduated a few years before me at Burke) who has failed to make the grade on the field. The question then is will Garrison and Stai be able to take our up and coming lineman to the next level.

I honestly can't imagine they would be any worse! At the very least they should be close enough to the game that they can teach proper form and technique and they're also young enough that they're kids wont be needing schollies anytime soon.

at the very least I think some how we need to motivate the offense and defense. Even Jason peter has said that multiple times as have alot of other people. the lack of motivation is noticable

Didnt say you did. it's called a question. So we get new coaches and their not up to your standards. just fire them and start again?

My bad was alittle worked up about the game still am in a way, I dont know what it is but something needs to be done and these problems need to be addressed or we are going to continueously go down this same path. Granted alot of teams would be greatful to have a 9 win season every year.

The same thing goes for our Dline that i said about our Oline, I cant remeber a game this year were we have gotten much pressure on the qb. that was also pointed out on the post game.

 

we just got a new D line coach. you want to fire him after one game.

Do people realize that was one of the most successful rushing games against a VERY STOUT defense? I loathe Barney as much as the next, but Barney wasn't making Yoshi crap his pants and jump when looking across at Clowney.

 

I just hope that Ryne Reeves can grasp the line calls quickly so next year, so NU finally has a full line up across the board. Caputo you fought, knew your sh#t, and except for one night were a player to look up too. But time after time all year, interior DLines destroyed ya.

I agree it was a great rushing game, but how many times in the last five years have we been able to Consistantly run it up the middle or between the tackle's with much success? Not alot or nto nearly enough, alot of the time it has been roy, or rex breaking a few tackles makeing people mis tackles.

As the title says it, I truely Believe he must go, Our Oline has been pitiful since he has been coaching it. Each game u can expect False start,s getting blown off the line of scrimmage, holding, and the inabilitie to sustain block's and provide protection or pickup blitzes. I Realise there are other player's and people to blame for the poor performance but even when cotton was the o corrdinator we were pitiful. U get an Oline that can actualy provide portectiona nd maybe Just maybe the qb play will come around. Also we need recievers that can catch the freaking ball!! when u get two hands on a pass and drop it that is inexcuseable No reason what so ever for it.

At least i,m Hopeing it is a regional game other wise i will have some ticked off friends that are coming to my place to watch the game as they dont have cable

Yes. On an unrelated note, I'm slightly worried Washington or Fresno State will have Big 12 refs.

 

If the FSU or WU games are able to be decided by bad reffing, then I think we have much bigger issues to deal with.

I agree. I will admit I May drink alot of Koolaid, but I have a good feeling about this year. My one major Question, is how much of Martinez Let downs last year were from Watson? Either the plays he was calling or the coaching. Makes me wonder if We will see a totaly different Martinez this year or the Deer in the Headlights. Hopefuly if it starts to be a repeat of Last year we give someone else a Chance.

I dont think it can be the same ref's. Dont they use Ref's from a neutral conference? maybe i didnt ord that right, what i am asking is say Nebraska and Tamu Play in a bowl game wouldnt it be ref's from a conference other then the little 12 and the big 10?
