    Figured I would Update this thread as I havent posted on it in Awhile, I,m still looking for the Student ticket/tickets to the Ohio State game, Would be interested in other games too If Anyone has any for sale As I dont get the oppurtunity to go that often.     my honest opinion he has gotten worse as the season has went along. Granted I realize he has been hurt and limited in the plays they call while he is in at qb, BUT since opposing defense's have geared up to stop him he has not shown any sign of fixing some of his mistakes. U would think watching film that he and the coach's would be able to see what need's fixed and what doesn't. I mean come on there were times last night when my three year old niece could have thrown the ball away with some of the time he had, and he just stood there and let them sack him? I,m not saying that he hasnt fixed some thing's since the start of the season, but the things that have been happening that everyone on this board has been pointing out about not checking down recievers throwing the ball away ect. have been happening all year long!! I guess what i,m saying is it get Irritating hearing all the time " well the kid is a freshmen u have to remember that" Again that may be the case But looking over the games this year he has gotten worse as the season has went along with his read's throws and management of the offense!

    My Question is Where does the insight bowl rank? It used to be cotton bowl was the highest NON bcs bowl u could get in the big12. then last year i heard the Holiday was the highest?

    Howdy y'all. First off, I want to say good luck this Friday and I really hope you win the B12 this year (unless we somehow backdoor into the game, of course!).

     

    I want to say thanks for all of the awesome visits that I have had up to Lincoln over the years and I am going to miss that. Did my part yesterday by doling out food and beers to any Husker fans that went by our tailgate... Special shoutout to the 'Mad Hatter' NU fan from Des Moines that shared his "Big Red Apple Pie" hooch with us...

     

    As far as the game, being at the game, I guess I still haven't seen some of the things that you guys saw on TV. I can tell you that I was very surprised at the # of calls that went against NU as compared with the # we got. The only one I remember being blatantly bad was the roughing the passer at the end and, unfortunately, that led to our game-winning FG.

     

    That said, A&M fans know how you feel - we have been on your end of those ref screw jobs for years and have had to battle through that a lot this year, too - esp. against OU and Baylor.

     

    I guess we are lucky that you guys chose to go to the B10 this year and the B12 refs are *apparently* incentivized to make it as hard for NU to win games as possible.

     

    At the end of the day, as a fan, I know that a win is a win and I'll take it, although I wish we could've done it under better circumstances.

     

    Anyways - beat the hell outta CU and OU/OSU - and good luck next year in the b10!

     

     

    I will agree with Most on people on this board. NU got shafted last night. I was sitting there watching the Game And asked my cousin Who is as big of A&M fan as i am a husker fan, if he was seeing what i was? And he asked Are u talking about the continues Holding #71 for A&M is getting away with, which yes it was what i was talking about. The roughing the passer call Cmon How do u call that seriously? And the PI call where they picked up the Flag your kidding right? Go back and watch the PI call dennard got called for and tell me the reciver was not shoving dennard all over the place Or at least trying to. best of luck to all of you, But the BEST team DID NOT WIN that game

    Question about the game yesterday, Was it me ( i was in the stands so Sometimes u dont have the greatest view of things) or Evry time Nebraska got a little momentum, weather it be a run or a pass, there was an injury? myself and the guy next to me was talking about that, and We counted at least 4 times that happend, anyone else notice this?

    Maybe I'm crazy, but I still think we can win the Big 12

    I think we'll bounce back and beat Oklahoma State. The only other game I'm worried about is Missouri. It's at home, where apparently we suck. I think we were capable of beating Texas. The team was just too emotional, or something. I'm not sure. Or maybe we're just bad.

    As much as I wanted to stick it to Texas on last time (well for once anyway), the Big 12/B12 Championship is the big picture, and Texas is just one of the games leading up to that. We still are very much in the drivers seat in the North w/ Missouri.

     

    We just need to shore up a few things on offense. Defensively we were pretty decent, and hopefully that can carry us when needed through the season. This is a turning point, and historically, Pelini's Nebraska teams have turned it on after the 6th or 7th game. Hopefully we continue this trend. All things considered, we're a 5-1, and that's something to be proud of. A lot of teams out there would be VERY happy with that right now.

    It Is Like Bo has Said All Along we are not the finished product, We 1 Loss is not going to Ruin our season, U learn from mistakes I believe we can Still win outright and play for a big 12 title and possibly a BCS bowl
