  1. Are you sure you're actually voting that way? I ran through the macro a couple of times and it's not actually "hitting" the button to vote for TO. I think it's just going to the page, then going down to the submit button below and hitting that.

In the last two hours TO has lost 1% of the vote and now is up only 40%-36%. He was at 41% when I last looked, with 500 or so votes for you in between. That seems odd to me.

Um, it hits the Tom Osborne button, if it didn't the Submit button wouldn't work. Try submitting without picking anyone, just goes to a blank page. And after my 500 votes it was still 41-36

If it doesn't select Tom for you, Edit the Macro and where it says TAG POS=# TYPE=INPUT:RADIO, put 4 in for the number if that's now what you have. I noticed some bugs in the recording.

I'm was just going to say that about the tag pos equalling 4. When I did it the first time I didn't notice but it put it as tag pos equaling 1 and I voted for Eddie Robinson like 1500 times. I got it fixed though and have now already voted for TO that many times and still going

  2. I'll help you husker fans out too, Firefox has a free extension called iMacros that will do this for you. Download and install that in your Firefox browser. Then it will be open on the sid of your browser. Go to the site and then Record whatever it is you want to do, after recording go to the Play tab and you can Play(Loop) as many times as you want. I tested this and it seems to work pretty well.

    And as always, Rock Chalk!

Edit: I've had this running for less than an 30 minutes, and I'm up to 500 votes.

Everybody should use this macro. Ignore the one I put up last night. This one is much easier and faster. I have voted over a 1000 times already int he last hour or so.

    Thanks a bunch nejayhawk.

  3. I just figured out a macro for automating my voting. I have it running and it looks to be working. If everything goes well I should be able to get about 500 votes an hour out of it.

    How you doing that?

I found a program online that is basically a key stoke recorder and I just have it repeatedly going to the site and voting.

    here is the link

    Link

Don't buy it, just do the try for free and they give you 21 days for free. After it is loaded open it up and pate this in as the code on the left side.

    GO http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/specialsect...bowl/2007/index

    WAIT 25

    SELECT input;14

    WAIT 200

    CLICK input;18

    WAIT 150

Keep pasting it until you have about 400 lines of code, any more than that and it started to bog down. Then hit the play button that is on the top of the code box. If it give you an error just hit play again, sometimes it will on the first time. when it gets done with the code just hit play again.

I saved the code on my computer so when it starts bogging down I can just restart the program, load the code and it speeds up again.

  4. I was at Colby Ridge one evening with my 10 year old son and TO walked in to order some ice cream...my sons jaw dropped to the table. I told my son to take a napkin up and ask for his autograph...my son was pretty shy about doing this and hesitated while looking over with napkin and pen in hand...he stood up and then sat down really quickly again and said "dad, i can't"....TO overheard this and walked right over to my son and said he'd love to sign and autograph for him...I was completely blown away and my son never forgets to tell that story to all his friends.

    TO is the man!

That's awesome. That is something he won't forget.

  5. I met TO when I was a junior in high school. I was a cornhusker boys state at the university that summer and he came spoke to us. We had a week long flag football tournament during boys state and we were the champions so we got to play a game against all the counselors. This was a day I will never forget. They didn't tell us before hand but there were special geusts for that game. When we got to Cook Pavillion to play we were all in awe when we saw who was standing on the sideliines for the counselors. TO, Ron Brown, Scott Frost, and a couple other underclassman. Scott was the counselors QB and he just smoked us. I did get his flags a couple of times and even tackled him once accidently. TO and Ron just stood there and watched and tried to give moral support to us poor high school kids getting our a$$es handed to us (two of our other counselor were on footbal scholarship at VT and WV). After the game we all got to meet and shake TO's and Scott's hands and they were just so down to earth and personable. It was a great experience.

  6. I agree, but it will have to be alot more than 56K to be the largest crowd though. I thought there had been a huge spring game a couple of years back and found that the 2005 game had 63K+. It would be nice to see it on TV again this year too beings I won't be able to make it.

    GBR!!!

  7. In all honesty, the guy is a football coach and that's really all we should care about. I could care less about the guys personal life because it's none of my business anyway. If some people think he's a good guy and deserves compassion than good for them, but all we should really care about is that he's a bad football coach who's record speaks for itself. I don't hate BC the person. How could I, I don't even know him, but I don't like BC the football coach and good guy or not he's got to go!

    :yeah

    6. Think of this also, TO is interim AD. To get a quality coach in here the Interim tag would need to come off. A new coach would force TO to keep this job at least 4-5 more years. No good coach is going to accept this job knowing the AD that hired him will be gone in 2 years, that is job insecurity that they dont want.

What are you smokin'. No coach coming into Nebraska is going to tell TO what he is going to do. They know the situation coming in and should know that TO isn't going to hang them up to dry. IMO when TO decides to leave he will bring in an AD that will know what NEBRASKA FOOTBALL is about and the tradition and that person isn't going to be inclined to revamp a coaching staff that TO put into place.

My guess it would probably be Dave Rimington but that would be just a guess.

That would be my guess too. I know I am probably dreaming but I would like to see Alvarez before Rimington.
