  1. But how do you know Christie knew anything about it.

Obama doesn't know anything of substance. Line in the sand. You can keep your insurance. blah, blah you know.

he flops on the deck like a freakin' tuna. Like any other politician that gets caught saying or doing the wrong thing.

And of course you're saying the IRS didn't target conservative groups??

  2. We buy fresh green coffee beans. Roast to our preference and enjoy. My wife likes Kenya AA coffee and I'm partial to Sulawesi Toraja. Have never tried a french press but heard that it's the way to go. I use a Black&Decker 1 cup drip coffee maker. We don't drink a lot of coffee maybe 2 cups a day. By roasting our own coffee, we control the amount of coffee we have made on hand and it never goes stale. I roast about once a week. The draw back to this method is it's really, really tough to drink coffee in a restaurant. BLECH

Is it true you can roast the beans in an old Popcorn airpopper?

And..More importantly, Where do you get your beans?

I was interested in making my own green bean extract a little over a year ago and the price always seemed to get too high on the ones I was watching on ebay.. And also not sure my neighbors would leave any shipments I'd get from Columbia alone

There are companies that sell green coffee beans. Burman and others. Ebay is a great source if you are the trusting sort. Just check out their ratings and feedback about the quality of their coffee.

I've heard that air poppers can be used but never have tried one. In the last 6 years I've had two roasters. Each was about $120. Lots of heat decrease life expectancy of the roaster, unless you purchase a $25k commercial unit. :D

  3. definitely. i would just hope people would be smarter than thinking "luck" is why it is successful, if it is. you would think they could still find a few valid criticisms to obsess over rather than this ridiculous and lazy spin.

    gotta play to your audience.

every party and msm does just that :D

  4. Well, I had thought about upgrading my fios speed to 50/25 and just grit my teeth at the 2 yr. renewal but I'm hesitant. I know N is the stable environment and AC is "draft" status. I just don't want to have to upgrade the router every other year :) cheapskate that I am. I just don't know enough about networks and the newer equipment.

The other thing is I have directTV and have 3 boxes that are wireless to the verizon router also. Plus our 2 phones that use wifi; so I'm starting to worry about bandwidth or something :D.

    Thanks for your info guys.

  5. It's the original router installed by verizon when fios was available for my area in 2007 or 08, not sure. Anyway, I have a Samsung LED 55" that is wireless with a lan adapter. I bought a cisco lan adapter(N) and attempted to hook up to my wifi.

My understanding is this wifi router from verizon is too old to support N.

So, do I spend the 100 bucks and buy a verizon router that does support N or look for a better router that supports AC and is backward compatible???

  6. NICE

A LEO friend of mine has a FNH 5.7 which shoots really well also. (another of those deadly banned guns in this here Republik)

In Kali the approved gun list is all about the benjamins.

  7. Humidity is a real bitch.

Not on the left coast so much :D But I live on the other side of the mountain west from Palm Springs. It's considered Low Desert. Low humidity. I use CLP on my weapons with good success. And Hoppe's too :)

  8. Where my son went pig hunting in N. Kali the guides were recommending at least a 7.62 because of a majority of long shots instead of closer ones. The nice thing was he just bought a different complete upper and was good to go.

Used to have a Rem 742 in 243 and 760 in 270. My first deer was a big muley out by Stuart, Ne (keya paha area) with an old Western Field 30/30 lever. Hit it at about 75 yards while it was walking through a stand of trees. It ran for about 100 yds.; followed the trail; voila. :D

But that 742 was a sweet shooting rifle.

And size does matter :) :

    5.56 vs. 50 BMG :D
