If you need to change the board to improve the way it runs you can take any ppp I have. I use the board to talk with HUSKER FANS. I buy Husker stuff on line as needed anyway. although as mentioned previously a OCC Husker chopper would be an interesting idea. I would have to figure out a way to automate my posts . At this juncture, I feel the board is great except for the ignore button is there really that feature on some boards? Some posts I would like to ignore but they have the right to post and it keeps my b/p from dropping too low .

Thx for the great uplifting post. And I congratulate the coach for that gutsy decision. I think all NCAA sports should be governed like that. I hope most programs are like that. Sports, ethics and morals. Maybe that should be a class and required coach continuing ed credit.

Am I mistaken? Didnt Porkchop run for over a thousand yards. And isnt that a pretty good total????? Super Spurrier isnt the coach, not at my NU. Now with a adequate qb to hit the receivers prn (as necessary) run and gun dont sound so bad. We may have a combined 2000 yards rushing from the backs and a substantial increase in passing production. IMO

After living in CA for 21 years can still see Lincoln in your story. I have been back numerous times and got to see the ballpark last summer. Growing up there was a blessing only Nebraskans and their families can truly appreciate (even the SoCal girl I married) . And if you didnt get the chance to come to the Rose Bowl game it ws fantastic with all the NU fans in the valley before the game and honkin on the freeways and the great company shared with everyone. Always special times with Nebraskans.

The comparison of a HUSKER fan and the NU institution with being a patron at a 5 star to 1 star restaurant isnt really a viable comparison. NU and its fans are just that. It is the only restaurant in town. I live in So Cal. with a multitude of things to do all year long. NU football win lose or draw is my lifeblood. Sure I hurt when they lose what fan doesnt but giving up on the team because of changes you dont agree with or think arent working is futile and childish. Scenario: BC, Cos and Co. dont work out. THE PEDEYBAN hires a new coach and staff. Will you quit them until they prove themselves also? I personally need my NU fix as often as I can get it. I glean info from the internet daily and savor all that is NU and Nebraska. A losing season will never change that. I had an aunt in Lincoln get tickets for the Rose Bowl so I could sit with the NU side. Unless the team professes a desire to practice human sacrifice and worship satan, my fervor for all things NE & NU will never diminish.

Mistakes will be the telling difference. ZT has had at least JUCO experience that should have been at least a step or two above the HS level. Beck's video is great but like what was said he will have some big adjustments to make but with BC's eval of him he should prove able to adjust his game.

Like I have said in the past the media just wants to think they have a clue and we should always believe what they say HELLO Reporters jibberish shouldnt be construed as the Gospel whether from a OU, OWH or LJS. They all put their own spin on things when they can. Makes them feel good I guess.

If BC isnt getting this he is the smartest millionaire in Nebraska. Especially if he can continue this charade for 5 more years. I dont think this is the case, why would he invest so much time and effort in recruiting and training and not have a clue. There are easier ways of making a living and have quality family time which is what most coaches have none.
