He should have made changes sooner. I think that is the crux of the matter. HE DIDNT. If BC has to make changes I hope he can make them sooner than later. Just seeing the influx of talent makes me think otherwise and that The Pedey has made a pretty good hire SO FAR. Who knows what will happen with BC and the program in a couple of years. Stardom or failure. Solich found out. The Pedey will have to make more hard decisions (hopefully handle them better though).

I think SP has done what he thinks needed to be done. He was at NU at the pinnacle and wants NU to be there again IMO. As with others sentiments, yes, his methodology has lacked in some respects. Hopefully, he has learned from these experiences in the last two years and goes forward and can make everyone happy .

I am glad that there is closure in that case. Hopefully the losing side can come out with some positive reinforcement about a bad situation that is not just a problem with OU but other schools as well. The field should be for players, coaches and guests period. And a reasonable cheer squad. OK I guess the stupid buffalo can be there too since he isnt too much bigger than some players

Weather is definitely a factor. I dont think any spring game is worth getting struck by lightning over. Now a NC that might be a diff story .

As far as fans go I saw some of each at the Rose Bowl debacle. Although the worst poo my son and I took was from some frat rats (UCLA) on the long walk back to the car. But we were quick to point out where UCLA was that year too.

IMO there are some really rotten people no matter where you are.

I think every coach has agendas they follow regarding players. Coach Callahan has consistently said the best players will play. If ZT is the best so be it. I actually like JD and think he is a fine person. Considering he is not even in his mid twenties and dealing with the media and the controversies not only now but last year any sour grapes on his part would not be too unusual. This isnt anything new at NU look at Crouch and Newcombe. Frazier and Berringer, etc. Unless Coach puts in a player that is glaringly less able he has the right to put who he feels is best. Damn the torps full speed ahead.

still too short in quality backup qbs/consistent play from the qbs plus if the Oline doesnt leak too much. I think it will mainly depend on if HB wows them in fall camp.
