I hope he enjoys being thrown to the ground like Freeman was/is by our guys. He officially just joined the list with Freeman in my book. These kids are a bunch of liars anymore. We'll get better without these guys and they'll be sorry when we eventually pass them on the way to the top.
Oh stop. Kids commit to coaches as much as they do to schools nowadays. Obviously, Gabbert wanted to be taught in a pro-system under BC's tutelage. If BC isn't going to be here, doesn't it make sense that Gabbert might have a change of heart? He's not a liar. He made a verbal commitment. It's not binding. This is completely different from Freeman.
Get off Gabbert's back. Personally, I'm hoping he decides to re-commit. I'd welcome him with open arms.
no joke, I have no problem with Gabbert leaving. Just take solace knowing that by the time he's a sophomore things will be figured out and we will kill Mizzouri. Every dog has its day, its their turn now.

Who cares if he got a MIP. no big deal, he's a college freshman

TO - "One of his first orders of business was to send an e-mail to all of the ex-players, welcoming them to stop by, visit his third-floor office, or stand on the sidelines during games. "
this is extremely encouraging.

wow, the numbers show that people are believing IBR. hope he is right.

gabbert would probably be better prepared for the NFL if we do get a new coach, regardless of who it is. Pretty clear these players arent being coached at all

Just the other day, Jensen said a friend of his – a Nebraska fan – drove up in a new car. Jensen asked her why she didn't have a Cornhuskers frame around her license plate.
"I did," the woman told Jensen, "but I've already taken it off. I'm not very proud of them right now."
then get bent lady 'cause you were never a fan.
no joke, tell her not to bother putting it back on next year.
I'm proudly keeping mine around my NY state license plate. Not exactly friendly territory

if the guy wants to get on the field and coach thinks he's ready, get him out there.
Most appealing NCAA Football coaching opening?

its not like Tom hasnt thought this out, he's known for over a month that Callahan was likely gone. I'm sure he's done a thorough search during that time of who he wants to interview. I expect the decision soon.
